every full upvotes reduces the voting power by 2% and the total percentage of votingpower available is 100%.....so upvoting fully fifty times will exhaust all the voting power.........now if for example your upvotes is worth 10$ at 100% voting power,the same upvote would be worth 5$ at 50% voting power.....the lower your voting power the lower the value of your upvotes compared to the original value when your voting power was 100%

Steemit is dominated by many intellects unlike Instagram, Facebook and Twitter that are highly dominated by unreasonable people. Try to make comments that are very sensible on people's post. By so doing, people might he forced to check up your blog

Another thing I want to chip in is that you should avoid resteeming too many posts ( resteeming means sharing people's posts). I hate to see too many resteemed posts on people's blog and I trust that many people hate it too

When people only take a glance at your blog, what they see will determine whether they will follow you or not and if they see that your blog is devoid of creativity, they lose interest in your blog. If they scroll down and all they see is 5-10 resteemed posts before they see your own post, you're only slowing down your ministry. (people do this but a newbie should avoid it)

Lastly, try to search for this app on playstore "plagiarism check" and make sure you perform plagiarism check as you're writing. Don't let's deceive ourselves here, what most people is to rewrite other people's article and spice it up well

You can rewrite the post of other people but ensure sure you use plagiarism check in order to put you on a safe side.
Once your post is infested by Cheetah's comment, you will earn little or nothing from such post.

Let me add one more thing. Whales like when you hype them and this works like magic too.. Try to comment on their posts and heap praises on them. Whine their head and make them feel like a king. I remember swelling the head of a whale and he gave me $5 straight up.

This is so true...no one taught me this but I figured it out and that's what am doing, decent earnings(atleast for a newbie) coming from commenting and my rep is 38...today makes a week and two days since my account was approved. I haven't had time to create contents yet shaa cos of school, all I've been doing is contests.
What I do is I go through every tag and make sure I follow people whose posts are trending and try to be the first to comment with a very reasonable comment when they post.
And I noticed one other thing, sometimes your comment get pushed below even though you commented before others, what might be the cause?

Bros your own dey learn. I had similar experience as a newbie . The author made a post and like i was monitoring him, immediately the post dropped i typed nice post. And saw '2votes' i checked the sign and saw (-) instead of (+). The effect was so bad that i almost gave up the account.

Since i no longer have anything to loose, I turned the hustle in a coded G. Got a powerful language translator coupled with my small ability to understand a few languages(as a wafboy). As awkward as it may sound i started using foreign Tags(dem Japanese dem and my translator doing the magic) .I Sincerely told them i am not from there but so much love them and their language(with their language)

Rule 1: If you Sincerely declare interest in humans and what they do, they may always want to reciprocate. It still works that way in the Outside world.


Those men no stingy na, dem just dey bless me. I got flagged severally for this, but my rep was already beautiful.

This is the surest way to get your account murdered especially if you are new, too many bot and that tatics don cast . Just study the system, you may get something legal that works for you and have the mindset of working smart, hope in God too.
