Now if the original owner fail to renew it after the year duration, some grace period will be given after the domain will be dropped and become available for anyone to re- register and it's legal.

Now this is quite easy and anybody with the right information and tools can do it and have a wonderful result. This is from my personal experience and not a hear say. Now this is richly profitable but just like any other business it has some basic strategies and ways to do it in order to get decent result.

The valuable names are very rear these days, people looks for rear names and they sell themselves, but the outbounding mails are just for awareness only, Lengthy mails does not do well as well because the CEO and other decision makers does not have time to read lengthy mails. So the mail should be very precise and straight to the point or purpose.

You just have to start somewhere, no one come from heaven with writing skills, but when you need money you just have to try many things to make money. You just have to write or buy materials on weekly basis, the contents that are related to the domain name. it is not advisable to reg a trademarked name..it always result in no sale and could lead to case with the company that own the trademark.
