When a company has the interest of the His partner at heart these are the type of packages we see.

1. 15% commission
2. Issuance of POS to drivers to enhance payment and reduce fraud from riders
3. Introduction of healthcare benefits
4. They may also introduce pension allowance for the drivers too. That's awesome. Taxify is too good a company.

Say no to greedy uber
Say no to 25% commission

I'm not driving on both platforms o. I don't even have a car. I'm just here to learn. Who knows, I might invest in the business.

Now, you are beginning to sound like a taxify rep or something.
You have failed to understand what capitalism is all about.
You have also failed to understand that Uber reserves the right to do whatever they want with their business and it is your prerogative to either go with their terms or look elsewhere.

They didn't give you an employment letter, neither did they enter into any trade agreement with you. If you are not happy, again, look elsewhere.

The uber I'm reading about here is even lenient. On a similar platform where I work, something as simple as laying a complaint against the customer care would get your account permanently banned. And you wouldn't do anything about it.

Why don't you give it out at 30k which is achievable
so that the driver can make more money for himself and also maintain your car. I am a fresh graduate, I drive my own car here in Abuja and I know more about the business
lol how about 10k so he make even more money. 35k is very OK for corolla

Talking about experience:

Please note that I am a newbie(75 trips in all) and I rely strictly on the map as I no sabi Lagos road at all.

Was on the road by 7am yesterday, completed2 trips on the mainland then the 3rd took me to the island. Dropped the rider off and got another almost immediately location Osbourne estate. Got to the rider, called and he said he is coming down now in his oyinbo accent. Waited for good 11 minutes before be showed up, got in and told me he is headed to the airport and was kinda late, I took off,got to the airport he asked how much it was, I ended trip and was waiting for the fare , Omo no network eh! Airtel don kill me I cried , oyinbo say he is in a hurry but that I should send my account details and fare to him and he will transfer later so I left, got out of the airport and network showed up so I quickly parked and was typing my details when a police hilux blocked me and ordered me out, ahh I don enter! They showed me the no parking sign and Every so I tried explaining but one of them got inside my car and ordered me to drive to the station, while driving I pleaded with the police man he said the fine was 50K, ahh I have made just 4800 and my fuel sign is up already(hadn't bought fuel yet) I begged ended up taking all I had made and I still had to thank their oga join... now am angry.. I got another request , called the guy he said he was in front of excellence hotel, drove there he said he was opposite ahh ahh... got there he said I have passed I should drive go take a u turn again, I screamed cancel please this is too much already, he pleaded I finally got to him(spent 15 minutes) saw another driver there we spoke, he told me the trip was to iyana ipaja, eh, am not going oo,he begged that he wants to chop taxify bonus today and that we will get a trip from there ...OK... the family came out and said I was going to carry 5 passengers, eh! eh!eh!! I refused. ..... 30 minutes into the journey a commercial yellow bus wanted to replicate fast and furious and scratched my car, I parked in the middle of the road , wasted 20 minutes there ,finally he drop 5k and I let him go... got to iyana ipaja , dropped off passenger, another request and was 3 minutes away, got there via map and it turned out the map was wrong, ended up following bike to get to the rider who was about 12 minutes away, where are you going sir I asked,he said drive I will direct you, the ride took me to the boundary of Lagos and ogun, somewhere in alakuko . I just vex.. off data.... drive 1hour jejely to my house....

Newbies... always ask where the trip leads before you navigate to the rider...
That was one Saturday to remember

I apologize for the errors..... please bosses in the house, share do's and don't's for us newbies. ThAnks for your usual cooperation...

Thanks for sharing sir ... hope you've been having better Luck?

Met this rider today. She made a video of me and reported me to taxify when I told her I can't continue a trip of 4km and we have waited over 1hr in between.. She insisted I must stay with her all day.{cos she went to buy soap at ebeano chevron, stop at some places, go take her bath and then go out} . I recorded her audio toowhere she was calling me animal idiot.. and so on as Well.

Important information.
How I came back from 4.22 ratings to 4.80.
1. No more night trips, 10pm max am done for the day.
2. I start early and close early
3. I accept trips by the tune of ur voice, once I notice rudeness in the tune I just cancel, no be ur papa buy moto for me
4. I leave little change, like 100 box
5. I ask for destination before approaching, so there won’t be any misunderstanding after I ve ended the trip
6. I try to entertain you by agreeing with you on anything you’re saying, even when I knw it’s rubbish
7. Always on soundcity fm or beat fm, for some cool vibes
8.

9.

10.

Am leaving this space for the expects, help us with how you do it. I still miss Romeo in this thread.

@Gazzuz I need a second opinion.

I recently replaced my Timing belt and water pump. I had being stalling the belt for fear of fakes but then d water pump started making a grinding noise. My tech said I had to change the pump and oh well I had to brave the belt with some little faith.

After the whole job was done 2 things happened. There was engine vibration though not much but significant. The vibration could be felt in the cabin. Eventually it evened out and stabilized.

The other problem was a whining noise from the timing belt area. My guess was that it was the water pump. My tech said the sound will disappear after the engine runs for sometime.

The whining noise seems to have reduced but you can still hear it. Its almost like a 16 hertz tone that changes perceptibly as the engine revs up and down no matter how small the change.

Asides that noise, the engine seems to be running fine. Its responsive, runs smoothly, no obvious change in fuel consumption.

By the was its a 2004 Lexus ES330.

And please guys don't tell me its not a good fit for UBER I really don't care. I'm a man on a survival mission. Its what I have for now.

The worst part is that when she reports you and gives poor rating, Taxify will drop ur ratings by 10% or 15% self, you could ve formed one lie and tell her while waiting, then end trip and run for ur life. grin grin grin
