good day everyone. Please I have a little question which I will paint using a scenario. if one worked for company A for a year and 11 months in 2017 and later worked for company B for a year and a moth in 2018. While applying can one use the later experience with company B 2018 as primary NOC while using company A 2017 to make it up to 3 years? or must it be the experience that is first in time should be the primary noc while the later completes it to 3 years. hope you can get the picture clearer
still waiting for some inputs in this scenario.

Congratulations to everyone that has gotten PPR so far.

Nd even bigger congrats to those that have crossed the IELTS hurdle. To those that haven't, please do not quit now.... the struggles would be a distant memory in no time.

As additional study materials for writing, there are these set of videos on Youtube that I had used for my writing. The lady breaks down how to answer all the different types of section 2 questions. How to structure your essay and all. You can give it a look if writing is your challenge.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuOWF-n-Q4A The links for all the other section 2 types can be accessed from this first link.

Another tip would be to actually practice the writing. It's easy to watch videos and think "I've got this" and it might be just too much trouble to be writing a lot of words up and down unlike listening and reading.... but if you don't practice, exam conditions might worsen your unpreparedness.

Anyways.... goodluck to future test takers and to those writing again.... I do hope that it will be your last time

Please has anyone successfully gotten WES ECA from Abia State University (absu)?

WES is still awaiting verification but insider at school says they've not received any verification request.

Any of your experiences can be the primary NOC. Primary NOC does not have to be the first job you did.

Am i supposed to send a photocopy of transcript along with my certificate? Requesting for my own copy of transcripts from schools (2) will be too expensive. WES need only a copy from school and my softcopy certificate.
Do IQAS accept soft copy documents like faxing through hellofax?

ysteph:
I used IQAS. The form is not difficult to download.
I cant explain the dynamics to get it but i know its somewhere on their website.
@Ethelia....please help.

So freaking happy cos it's a double celeb for me. Didn't have time to get down to my announcement. So here it is.

CRS: 449
ITA: Jan 24th
AOR: Jan 30th
MEP: Feb 14th (or thereabouts)
IP1: Feb 15th (when I noticed sha)
IP2: Feb 27 (The almighty upgrade)
ADR: April 12th. To submit hubby's work experience reference letter. That was a helluva problem cos DH was outta the country on a 3-week training so I had to do the running around for that one. Finally got it in about 6 days and rushed to submit.
Ghost update: April 27th. Twas DH that noticed it. Had my hands full.
PPR: May 2nd.

In another news. grin grin grin My twin babies decided to make a grand entrance on the 2nd of May also. It's only by God's grace. Hubby was the one that noticed the PPR mail sef. The mail had been in my mailbox all day. He didn't notice till the 3rd of May. Who get time to dey check mail when there is major business to attend to?

Been resting and resting some more. We have already sent a CSE to inform CIC about the new addition and they have responded.
Working on getting passports for my angels.
Thank you to everyone who responded to my requests back then. You guys are the MVPs.
@happytbaby love you ma'am. Thanks a lot.
@glitteringstar Greater you I pray. Thanks sis.

Lemme retreat into my guest mode.

The transcript must go from your school to IQAS. It must be in an envelope sealed across the flap. As in school seal.
I sent hard copy of my documents along with my transcript to save cost.
I do not think IQAS accepts soft copy of documents.
@Ethelia...please assist us.

It depends on the document. Of course your Transcript must be sent directly to IQAS from your school. My contact also included the other documents with the transcript in the same package, however she forgot to add my Application Form. I faxed this later to IQAS and it was accepted.

So it doesn't necessarily have to be the original signed copy that is sent to Iqas? Can I scan and send the signed application to the person helping to process my transcript? He's going to help send all the documents to Iqas.

I was already thinking of the courier cost of sending the printout to him.

You need to write out a list of the things you do on your job, then check likely NOCs, you can paste here for NOC Madam to review but you need to at the minimum come up with your duties.

Heads up guys... Need your advice pls

1. I applied for Temporary Resident Visa in April (post-ITA) to attend a summer institute course in Canada which will take place in June.

2. I submitted the application with enough documents to show my intention of leaving Canada after the course.

3. I submitted my PR application on the 5th of May.

4. I got refused for the TRV this morning without any reason other than "I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your immigration status."

5. What should I do now?

Yes, it wasn't a typo error. Mixing up studying in Canada and returning home with immigrating to Canada as a pro, staying put and starting life afresh without the assurance of landing a dream job. The latter was my standpoint ok? Hope that's clear to you now. Olodo
