PrettyCrystal:
It was earlier reported how two truck filled of Fulani indigenes were intercepted at a checkpoint in Ogoja local government area in Cross River state after an alarm was raised by Hausa villagers who sighted them while coming down from the truck to buy food on Sunday, May 6th. Youths from the host community where the Fulanis stopped; Ogoja - came in agreement and refused the Fulanis from settling there as they chased them away.

According to reports from an eyewitness, “the Fulanis came with two armed escorts – an Army Officer and a Policeman since they suspected the locals could resist them if eventually they got to know”. To their greatest surprise, the Hausas who have been living in Garki over the years where the first to raise alarm and call the attention of the public about the “new faces” who have come to join them''.

According to the Hausas, “The new Fulanis will make life difficult and hostile for them to continue living in Ogoja peacefully because it is possible they were driven from wherever they came from because they were killer Herdsmen”.

Youths chased the Fulanis from Garki, to Yahe in Yala. When the people of Yahe saw what was going on, they joined in the campaign and chased them farther through the borders of Yala and Ikom.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Ms Irene Ugbo said that actually two trucks loaded with Fulani Herdsmen arrived the towns but were returned back with armed escorts.

nope.. there has been this mix up of taking Hausa's and Fulani's as the same... Hausa's are more peaceful than the Fulani people... infact ,the Fulani's are not really of Nigerian origin as most of them found there way into Nigeria from neighbouring countries like Chad, Niger etc during there mission to spread Islam across northern Nigeria

Though the expansive and aggressive Fulanis have intermarried with the Hausas for centuries after subduing them, Hausas still groan under Fulani's brutality.

There are a lot of Fulani herdsmen murdering Hausa farmers daily but it's often under-reported or they are termed as Bandits.

An army officer and a Policeman were part of the Fulani entourage.

The Army is now politicised and has an ethnic agenda.

Hmmmmm! The genocide wan enter Cross River State. And we have a PDP governor who is pro Buhari. How can 2 truck loads of fulani people arrive with 2 escorts. One army, one police? Somebody tell me how if they are not federal govt sponsored. All is not well!
police men And military men are easily bought with money. Especially the police. If it was government sponsored, don't you think more than one policeman or more than one military man would be deployed to secure them?

many people still tag them the same... but that's not the case... even Hausa's are victims here, they corrupt them and commit crimes knowing fully well that the blame is going to go to the whole northern Nigeria because even the Fulani's know that many Nigerians mistake them for Hausa's...many don't really know that the Fulani's are the minority and have subdued the Hausa's due to there violent nature

WHEN YOU SEE FULANI RUUUUUUUN

FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE
THE FUNNY THING IS THAT WHEN THEY SEE YOU TOO ESPECIALLY THE HERDERS THE RUN TOO ESPECIALLY IF THEY DONT EXPECT TO SEE YOU UNLESS OFCOURSE IF THEY ARE ARMED

JUST RUN TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE

IF YOU GET CATAPULT YOU NEED NOT RUN. BUT IF NA CUTLASS OR GUN BETTER RUN

the Hausas has been an unfortunate victims of the Fulani menace.

the Hausas suffer killings from Fulanis just like other ethnic groups in Nigeria - case in point: zamfara state where more than 500 hausas has been killed by the fulani terrorist this year alone.

an addition to that, the hausa bear the brunt of fulani evil as they are accused in connection with the fulani terrorists while they actually have no hand in the killings by fulanis.

i always feel very sorry for the hausas - their case i like that of the dog eating poo and still has clean teeth while the poor goat that doenst eat poo is the one with the rotten teeth.
