So you're constantly suggesting that fraudsters should be allowed to continue if all corrupt politicians will not be arrested today?

Mind you dealing with problem is one by one, after fraudsters they will have time to face the politicians.

Are the politicians not the ones who have the power to deal with fraudsters
Am I missing something?
Please think outside the box and read my comment that you quoted again, slowly this time.

Below is my response on a different threat to this same subject matter..not a fan of the Nigerian Police though, but trust me that even without the Police doing anything with the scammers,Karma is as real as eff..

We can try justifying stealing all we want, and try racial-profiling it however we deem cool, but the truth remains that the blood that flows through the white man's vein isn't white neither is ours black.

Whilst also trying to justify scamming by using our thieving politicians as a lame excuse, why wont they keep perpetuating their roguery when the ones who are supposed to make them sit up or go on an outright revolution, the likes of what went down in Egypt and Tunisia, have chosen to take the easy lazy way out of stealing from the innocent.

I still ask myself why, if we know our politicians are truly a reason why most of them have chosen this easy evil way out to make a living, are they not scamming the politicians.

Don't even want to tow the slave-trade route, makes no shitty sense.

Most boys who have taken to this shameful easy route of survival do not even know the history of the game in Nigeria. They need to find someone to lecture them on the Fred Ajuduas,Nwudes,Ade Bendel and the likes. These were men who had unfettered access to the NNPC,CBN and almost Aso Rock to perpetuate their games and made Tens and hundreds of Millions in USD even before the advent of the internet, but today where are they and all the monies? Easy comes, easy goes-Karma

Below is my response:

This is a typical 'make me feel good statement' from a typical scammer and everyone else engaged in reaping where they haven't sown.

You and I know this is certainly not true, because scamming or stealing is gender and race (less) and most people touting this slave trade poo are actually ignorant to the 'Slave Trade' story.

Now tell me, would you refuse to reply a potential Ghanaian mugu's response to your mail? Or better still, how would you react to an African American's payment slip to your mail box. Do not forget the African American are the original victims of this purported slave trade.

Be honest and tell me you'd ask them to keep their money because you are all victims of the 'white man's' trade and as such you are fighting one course.

I'd regard myself as an authority on this subject matter, having seen and done all of it.You can read about it and more in my book from profile.
In my book, you'll read about how we made people hand over their retirement benefits plus life savings and what followed..

Slave trade isn't a viable excuse bro, wrong is wrong, evil is evil. There's Karma men let's live honest and aright.

Peace...

419ers have no problem scamming even their own mother for as long as she doesn't know it is them, so what good does that bring to Nigerian economy? What good does it bring when a genuine Nigerian business person tries to conduct business abroad, and is rejected because a foreign business partner can rightfully suspect our fellow Nigerian could be a scammer, and all that because of ONE IDIOT BELIEVING HE IS BRINGING MONEY INTO NIGERIAN ECONOMY?

He has a point, but most people here have refused to reason along that line and I find it quite hypocritical.

Is it not true that Nigerian politicians loot our economy? Is it a lie that Yahoo boys take from a foreign economy? This is not about holiness, it is a simple analysis.

Go and ask the Chinese government, they will never arrest their own citizens for things like piracy, copyright infringement and production of fake products just because the international bodies are complaining. That's why we can afford Polo shirts for 2k in the market. But here in Nigeria, a 20year old boy who the nigerian society has affected will scam a white person for just $500 and will be sentenced to 20years in jail.

The same politicians looting our nation have never been convicted for any crime, yet yahoo boys are the target of SARS and EFCC.

Please between the crimes of these 2, which one affects our lives daily as Nigerians?

Stay there and be criticizing Efe while politicians are looting money meant for your generation.

Most of the people commenting are commenting from an emotional standpoint.

From a moral angle yahoo is bad! but from a more logical angle is not bad.

it a case of holy books, you can support the good and bad with same book.

How does it affect us? it creates laziness in our youth, it makes us unproductive and uncreative cause the youth will rely on it which will slow the Nation growth. just as the nation rely on free oil money cause we believe it will always come and we all know how its slowing us.

how do we gain from it? yes, except we want to get emotional but yahoo bring a fragments of forex to the economy especially a country that need forex. just as how nigerians in diaspora send billions of dollars every year . diaspora's bring the forex through a supposed legit way while the yahoo boys bring forex through a fraud way but the bottom line is they both bring forex except the financial expert want to be hypocritical with this truth.

Its like the days of mmm we all know its a pyramid ponzi scheme that we fall, even the banks know but i bet they wouldn't want it to crash because they had an all high business transaction during that time which favors them any way.

should we justify them? We can justify them depend on how open minded we are, we can justify them by saying atleast the British government knew about the slave merchant but encouraged it cause they profit on it to build their empire, we can justify it by saying the oil spillage happening in southsouth by foreign oil explorers know their is oil spillage but their government will shield them cause they know it brings the forex, we can justify them by saying the USA government knows guns kill but they know they profit from NRA. look at the Chinese that poach elephant tusk in africa but the Chinese's government don't care cause it favours them

you see its all about the greater good, and to achieve a greater good is not about morals, if doing good will bring greater good hel yeah if doing bad will bring greater food hell yeah.

Note: whatever the good yahoo brings to the economy is just a temporary fix, the government need a lot of empowering program for the youth for them to transit from yahoo to a technical expert just take a look at Germany.

I see every one has an opinion on this very topic but while at it, let's try to keep religion and sentiment aside and see things from this point of view instead

Many of this young guys are actually graduates, smart, good grades, from poor homes etc

While the politicians in Nigeria have been recycling themselves (father was now son is and daughter and mother will be in future) it remains within.

Now politicians don't make good policies, bad roads, poor infrastructure, terrible health care, unfavorable work conditions for many civil servants, terrible pay. All this happen under their watch and people die every second because of this factor while they earn enough (politicians) to feed the whole country.

Yahoo Boys scam few persons and some get depressed, die, suicide etc and mind u its obviously not cool bt den, let's check the number of persons affected negatively by all this. Yahoo Boys can fault the politicians for going into what they do bt the politicians can't do same and that's because they are are the cause of the problem.

Every Nigeriam youth cannot and will not become an entrepreneur.

This is myown 2cents ☺
