The deadline is for application to get to uni-assist, that is only applicable for standard procedures not vpd

Oga is that your sole aim of going to Germany There are better things to do than that. Why not think of learning the language and getting a professional job to secure permanent residency rather than just thinking of having fun with someone u don't love for the sake of it.

In respect of the 8,700 euros, I heard anyone staying in Germany as a citizen can give a document stating they can take care of your expenses and the embassy can except this and wave the block account thing for you.

It's the last date for university to receive your document and payment.... No worry, if they process your own fast, most schools will give you admission before the deadline as long uni assist have sent them your result and you met the requirements. while some will wait for like one month or more after the deadline to make sure all the application is been evaluated before they give admission.

I'm new here and just got admitted to study in Germany. I have the following questions:

1. Please is it true that having a German citizen as a sponsor can replace block account in applying for visa?
2. How do I and the person go about it?
3. Please I need a sample of a sponsor letter.

I´d wanted to reply you yesterday but because I added a link, the spam bot blocked me..

1) Yes, a permanent residency card holder or a German both of which must be working full time with an income of over 1500€ after taxes and all deductions. Please note: your sponsor may be limited if he´s married with kids. This is because his salary will be shared amongst his/her dependencies

2) This depends on the city.. some city requires you book an appointment while some are just walk in.. The sponsor gets the letter immediately after paying some fees and clearance. The is €25

3) Its verpflichtungserklärung.. you can check more pictures online... Just type "verpflichtungserklärung for studies" on google images.

CAVEAT: Please know that lots of people are scared of helping with this letter. Unless a well knows family member. There´re lots of stuff about it which can´t be discussed online. This literally means your sponsor trusts you well and he can vouch for you to a large extent. But note that if you fall into any dispute either with the police or any offense, your sponsor will be questioned and he/she might end up loosing his residency.. !
