Firstly, Happy Children's day to every beautiful Child in this country. According to the scripture, Psalm 127:3-4 “Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior's hands”. The fifth verse of Psalm 127 says “Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them”. Looking at this scripture, does it mean that every child born came from God or a blessing from him? Does it mean that there are no children from Satan? Because the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 11:14 “But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light”. If you think it is a YES, then consider those conceived out of wedlock or those that were conceive through sexual immorality or through rape as we know that there are many cases of rape. Can we say the children they give birth to are blessings from God even though some children are not wanted or welcomed? Yes, they are blessing from God if properly trained and taking care of. If you don't, they become a disaster and course to you.. Meanwhile I have seen naturally evil children who brought shame and failure to their parents, I also witnessed a 12 years old boy brutally murdered his own mother. Not all children are blessing from the Lord. But God said before you were formed I knew thee, how come he knows those evil children will bring destruction to their own parents and still allowed them come into this world  5 Likes |

No doubt about it that children are beautiful and a blessing from almighty God. Anyhow a pregnancy is conceive, it is a blessing to whoever it is for. Both the male and female concerned. How the person or persons who is blessed handle the situation can now make it up to be another thing. But in the real sense of it, it's a natural blessings from above. 1 Like |

Every child born of a woman is a gift from God When the child grows up, its the responsibility of the parents to teach the child the ways of the Lord. If the child isn't trained in the way of the lord, the child would deviate and follow worldly ways. Whether a woman was raped or she was involved in fornication, and as a result she got pregnant, its still the hand work of the maker who gives life becauae he said, before you were conceived in the womb, I knew you! My nephew spent more time in the hospital than at home. Needed a special maid to tend to him all six years of his life when not in the hospital. My in-laws spent most of their money on keeping their child alive. When he finally passed away, every one heaved a sigh of relief because the stress was just too extreme for the parents ( and us the family members). So much about blessings from a god...! 4 Likes |

When you say children I am sure most people will think they are but they all forgot that the terrible humans roaming the face of the earth were once children. On a child's level they are the most inconsiderate self-absorbed narcissist creature ever. I am sure in retrospect most people wouldn't think twice to consider Hilter even as a child a curse to humanity. Children/human are not also a blessing so are more trouble than others. Gerrard59: You got it all wrong. When two people get married they are BLESSED with children by God. Not every couple is privileged. So children are blessings from God the Almighty Creator to couples. Wherever there are children, there's hope of continuity. Even if their parents are poverty stricken, the children are a blessing and a source of hope for the poor. Our great grandparents were poor farmers. Yet look at us now, clutching mobile phones, driving expensive SUVs all over the place. It is selfish not to procreate.
