cameeeeel: Thank you for this response. We don't build our team around a player even though he's our talisman. There will be days he may not turn up cos age is catching up on him. Anti-CR7 won't read up to know who brought us to the final. Being in the pitch alone is a HUGE THREAT cos players will be assigned to tail him which gives his team mates the room to explore their opponents. CR7 on the pitch reduces his opponents by 3 men. Pentools: you only share this sentiment because u hate yo give real Madrid their due credit. in 2016, Madrid beat Athletico through penalties was that not tough enough? in 2017, Madrid beat a juve side that conceded only thrice until the final, was that not challenging enough? in 2018, Madrid beat the league winners in France(PSG) Italy(juve) and Germany(Bayern) to get to the finals yet u expect the fourth best team in England to beat them...if Liverpool had won you wouldn't be sharing this sentiment albeit it would have been a greater feat.  the funny thing is many barca fans were watching the match only to make sure that Ronaldo didn't score .chai see hatred  .And I want everybody to know that Mane's goal was offside but nobody go talk . I want all people thinking Ronaldo didn't play anything , he was d one distributing passes and zidane used him to distract Liverpool defence sometimes while Marcelo and isco did the job ,that is called tactics, . u can't fight fire with fire . With neymar, psg still lost the 1st leg With dybala, juventus still lost the 1st leg, ended up winning without him Robben and boateng both started the 1st leg against Madrid... No one's fault that they got injured.. U were quick to forget that Real Madrid played a winger in right back for full time in the second game against Bayern.. And for part of the 1st leg.... cameeeeel:Story Madrid doesn't play badly or very well. They basically use all sorts of dark arts to win at all costs. Like diving to win a penalty, simulate to get opposition player send off, injuring the opponent's best player. They get away with all these because they seem to always enjoy referees calls. They win trophies quite OK but they don't win hearts. Barcelona on the other hand win both. |

Pentools: Truth is this, in single leg match or at least first leg game, you get to see Madrid really prove their credentials. first leg against PSG, neymar played, Madrid won. first leg against juve dybala played, Madrid won... As for Bayern and Liverpool, it is on record that Robben and Salah played against Madrid(unfortunately they didn't finish the match) but who says a player has to finish a match? Chamberlain got injured against Roma in the first leg at 0-0 Liverpool went on to win 5-2. Arguably they are better than Roma...no one made noise about Liverpool loosing a key player. in the Europa semi finals Koscielny got injured and would even miss the world cup no one made an issue out of it but then this is football it happens. u keep fighting no matter what. just last month with Barca's unbeaten on the line, they got a red card but kept fighting against Madrid and got a draw. 2008 final Drogba got a red card for motioning a tap towards the face of vidic. Chelsea kept fighting and could have won if not for john Terry slip. If we allow excuses like these to overshadow hardwork, we will not be able to give credit where it is due and that is unfair. The only reason that there's so much noise is because people refuse to give Madrid the accolades they have earned. 4 Likes |

Who are those talking jargons about Ramos? The ball was a 50/50 challenge and it was Mo Salah who went to lock his hands in Ramos'. A taller player cannot bend low to go grab a shorter player's hand. They got their hands locked, were both struggling for ball and fell. Unfortunately, Salah fell awkwardly. Ramos is stronger than him YES! Ramos defended well YES!! but Ramos never fouled him intentionally. Please, let's learn how to be fair. Away from that, Liverpool lost the match not because of Mo Salah's absence but due to a senseless change in tactics. Klopp knew the strength of the Madrid team is in the midfield and he guarded against that very well in the first half by choking the midfield which really worked well. As soon as first half finished, he opened the midfield such that Madrid already did two major attacks in less than 3 minutes. His mistake was trying to attack Madrid leaving some holes in the Midfield Toni Kroos and Co took advantage of that and distributed the balls well across the wings. One of such balls was distribution to. Marcelo who made a superb right footed cross for Bale's psycho kick. When you play a better team, you play strategically and not try to attack when not necessary. The choking worked perfectly. I don't know why he changed it. Madrid plays like a machine and they didn't even need a through ball or facing a goalie to do the damage. What an easy win for Madrid. Good job! |
