I remember watching Felix Trinidad vs Fernando Vargas, two of the great boxers of the 90s and 2000s decade. Agreed their hands were entangled in the tussle but if you watch carefully you'd see Ramos refused to let go of the hand even though it was obvious they're both going to the ground.

This analysis is not completely correct. Yes, lack of experience cost us the match but it has nothing to do with our bench or Amu/Amo leaving the pitch.

Nigeria had a rich bench in 94.

Nigeria has an inexperienced coach who didn't understand game management. Because even after the duo of Amo/Amu went off, Nigeria still maintained the lead until the 90th minute when Egwuavoen gave away a penalty to Roberto Baggio.
