That's how some Oviedo to save face. I just wonder, what could be the reason, they kept revising historic account, just to make them feel important. Well, I am sure, guest (s) readers would definitely acknowledge easily, the liars from the kingdom of Igodomigodo(Udo),that tried bitterly to claim what's not theirs. Anyway, their cunningly opinions have been ridiculed, with evidence of etymology/lexicon that their Oba is from Yorubaland.
lol did u see my argument with prolong2 about the map he posted. Instead of answering my question he chose to cuss instead.

u think so. Check history of nairaland and any argument with Yoruba for the most part whether the Yoruba position is right or wrong like 40 to 50 pages back they would have ended the argument and just say let’s leave it we are omoluabi and give up but once in a while what’s going on in this thread happen we go the distance. We should Enjoy it cuz it doesn’t happen often as much as I like it to happen so why be tired.

Bini scholar, relying in google is your greatest undoing. Please go to libraries or buy books and also visit the archive for first hand documents. Google can’t help you. If you’re in Edo, visit the Dept of History, they’ll recommend books and you’ll be able to tell us more about Edo without soundinf stupid with every post. Also, you’ll be able talk about Edo without quoting Yoruba scholars. Olodo, bragging about Google like that is what proper intelligent people depend on grin

1. I did not know the ethnic group in eastern Ghana, Dahomey, Bariba & Tapa were Yoruba until now.

2. I also did not know Ife, Ijebu, Egba, Ijesa & Ekiti were all Yoruba prior to 19th century until you just sait now.

3. I also did not know Udo, Afemau, Ishan & other towns surrounding Bini were not Edo o.

4. There was no state separation yet most Yoruba towns were regarded as Ekiti? Do you now see why I keep saying you are not smart? I guess there were no state separation yet the Abua, Ikwerre, Ibani, Opobo, Eleme, Okrika, and Kalabari, Etche, Ogba, Ogoni, Engenni, Egbema, Obolo were all regarded as Rivers? Smh.

5. Ever heard of ALara, Ajero, Oloba, Owa Orangun aga & the others who were Oranmiyan’s seniors? The only king you made was Eleko but guess what, Yoruba made your king grin.

Try very hard again, very hard.

The Yorubas started this with their feel good agenda.
How can they turn a Thank you visit by the Great Oba of Benin to Ife, turned it into the Oba going to pay homage? who does that?
No the white man started it. The white man started all this tribalism and animosity between the different African ethnic groups. it’s left for rational black people like you and me not feed into it. The tribalists here on nairaland are a big disgrace to the African race, tearing our own brothers down.

You need be given a knock on the head grin for this your nonsensical statement. Have not read that ILEIFE was the source of Yorubas. Even Kingdoms that are older than OYO ,BINI,IJEBU, OKUN, IWO,IKOYI , acknowledged Ooni and ILEIFE . Go visit Orangun ILA( the first son of Odua) , Owu, Popo King, Oniketu , Obokun etc and ask them, whose seat is supreme? They will inform you as Oba Bini acknowledge recently cheesy that Ooni seat, is the most revered ,because it was the seat of their ancestor, called , Oduduwa/Admila . Funny enough, Oranmiyan sustained this legacy and his descendants uphold it .
Qed.

You are not well! This is why I have decided to allow you and your ilks display you madness to the full glare of the public.

That you yorubas claim ile ife as your source is basically what you sick fvcks were programmed to do. There's absolutely no statement of fact in that.
Even the ijebus have claimed to have come directly from Arabia themselves and not originating from ife.

The Awujale and Alaafin's claims stands. You are too small and infinitesimal to change that. Ooni is a slaveboy and you all bow to slaves because you yourselves are slaves.

Babaramota has confirmed that the Yorubas migrated from only god knows where. They are aliens in Nigeria

So going by your warped statement Eweka came through a slave lineage. Correct?

Sorry dickow, Eweka is a bona fide scion of the Ogiso dynasty just his fathers before him; Oranmiyan and Ekaladerhan(Oduduwa)

So if ekaladheran started Ooni and your brother said thats a slave throne what does it make your Eweka?

You are actually the confused one..
First of all, this present Oni is not a direct lineage of oduduwa. History as confirmed his ancestor usurped the throne from oduduwa’s son after oduduwa died. You can correct me if I’m wrong.

Secondly, who are the original speakers of the Yoruba language? Is it the immigrants (convenant founders) or the aboriginals?

Where did you hear that the present Ooni is not direct descendant of Ooni Oduduwa?

There is something we call Ifa in Yorubaland. All our Obas have Ifa and an Ifa priest.

Before science discovered dna Ifa has been used to validate lineage and pedigree in Yorubaland.

....and if i may add, our priests do not turn the oracle message upside down and lie as you guys do in Edo.

So ifa can be used to validate parentage? It’s as authentic as DNA?? Gawdammit. You yorubas are hilarious

You dont believe you can validate birth legitimacy with Ifa.....but you believe Olfert Dapper that you can "wash Bini walls and turn them into mirror?" grin

Edo and witchery....
mtttchheew, smh for una. cheesy cheesy

Dapper documented true accounts of what he was told by European visitors to Great Benin Kingdom. But you yorubas believe that Ifa can be used to accurately determine DNA parentage more than the scientific methods.
I said before that your name “babaramota” sounds foolish.. you are indeed a foolish Yoruba man.

Ifa can be used to legitimize paternity. YES!

Olfert wrote hearsay about Bini and became authority on Bini ....amazing!

Ok so you mean Ifa gave legitimacy to a slave descendant (not oduduwa biological line) to take the throne of Ife? hmmm this Ifa seems dubious sha. U sure dem no bribe am with ogogoro and akpeteshi?
And from ur statement are u agreeing that the Oni is not really Oduduwa descendant but Ifa has spoken so it must be obeyed?

Not in Yorubaland abeg! Chiefs that lie on oracle is an Edo thing.

Oracle that associates itself with people that engage in human rituals, use children and women for sacrifice is a useless oracle..

Listen, the true essence of Ifa has long departed Yoruba lands because of your evil and wicked ways.
What you have now is dubious elements parading themselves as Ifa or Ifa priests.

You are irretrievably dumb! Ekaladerhan(Oduduwa) was a priest and herbal expert at Ife. Oramiyan his son, fathered Eweka. The slave son of the slave woman who served under Oduduwa was the one who became ooni. Stop making a fool of yourself with your paraplegic comprehension. Read it written by a Yoruba man like yourself.

How many of these ekladherans does Edo have?

Stop making a fool of yourself. Being a priest and herbal expert didn't negate his kingly attributes. The emphasis was to establish reason why oranmiyan refused taking up the throne and rather left it to the slave assistant who would later be known as Oduduwa. At least ,that's what you yorubas also believe.
