Onazi spoke out but nobody took him serious. "We are just doing the same thing all over again, the same formation. Some are running for team while others are just trekking forming boss.
Rohr always make like for like substations no invention nothing just the same thing all over again pathetic.

I never said he was bad but he bleeped himself up by falling down more than rain this season, take it or leave it..Thank God for Etebo and Ndidi or else Nigeria midfield would have collapse like wall of Jericho.

Call a spade a spade moses was a threat but he didn't play like a professional player only Etebo did, ok

he bleeped him self by falling down??

without moses crotia perisic would have roasted shehu, moses was discipline from the blast of the whistle.

if we are to get a goal we know where it will come from, he was rated our best player in some rating and second best in some.

i see nothing wrong in the way he played yesterday, nobody is talking about how mikel want to beat everyone in the pitch even when not necessary

Sorry one player doesn't press alone it's an exercise in futility.

The team press as a unit not as individuals it's hard work but that's what makes the difference.

Unfortunately, HARD TRUTH Mikel can not press too slow and has no stamina. In this regard he becomes a liability.

The game was lost by team selection & formation.

Uzoho was sent the wrong way.

BascoVanVeli:
What also grinded my gears was that Uzoho didn't even dive for the Pk. We had how many months of knowing we would play Croatia and somebody didn't think it would be wise to take 5 minutes to study their one and only penalty taker!! Even in the PSL u see coaches telling their keepers were to dive because they had studied the opponent. We have not one but two GK trainers btw.

the issues, I had assumed previously, were quite obvious for all to see. But I have just been shell shocked since I came online, people are blaming everyone except the players who should actually be blamed. watch them twist what you said bowl

That's how we roll on this thread. It's always me against them, my player must not be criticized mentality. Not genuine attempt to dissect the problems of the team.
Even up till last week, they didn't want to believe the team was not in good shape. Trying to force the opinion that Rohr is hiding tactics and the Super Eagles have always been bad in friendliess.

all this coming up because we lost to Croatia...to me the group is wide open and we can qualify from that group

iwobi need to stand up to be counted when it matters, i don't believe this is a case of playing a player in a wrong position, so many players are always played out of position in country football

Come to think of it, iwobi has played more in the wing in his professional career than in the middle, so how could that be out of position??

we needed to contain ndidi, mikel and iwobi in the team and add another tackler to add grit, perhaps Rohr should have tried the 3-5-2 formation
Whatever the tactics they should play with determination. I have said it from the get go:if they going to lose let them do so gallantly.

U should have ignored him. De Gea and the Spanish coaching team didn't drill De Gea on keeping Ronaldo's free kick and penalties knowing that such cases could up in a tourney.

Some people's hate for that Nwangele boy wonder knows no bound. Same guy blamed him for that own goal

We dont have material for one striker. Abeg we should switch to our traditional 4-4-2 or 3-5-2

As good as Ekong is, I will choose Awaziem anytime, any day ahead of him. Awaziem is faster, tackles more clinically and always jumps to fight in aerial duels.

Oga Moses didn't play so well yesterday.

He started dribbling munulessly from the beginning, that's not what we came for. The only reason I'm not blaming him hard is because Shehu was static, Shehu didn't support him at all.

Will it not be possible to start Iheanacho with Ighalo and put Moses and Iwobi on the wings like we did in USA94 instead of using a lone striker upfront and our wingers dropping back all the time to help in defense?

A 4-4-2. That can also work

What pains me the most is that we have better players head to head with Iceland and that our coach’s tactics and direction will be our undoing. Rohr must utilize a formation that’ll unlock the pace, energy and explosiveness of our team. Is it that hard for him to see this?

we will get it right this time

Muj,right now am speechless cos all am seeing here were taunting analysis like i/we said it even from unexpected angles.

The team was poor against Croatia and i will not blame any player but Rohr, really surprised seeing Okocha telling us Iwobi would have made the difference as AM?made the difference?in uninspiring team.

Check out our players yesterday they lacks the willingness of a competitor and no matter the formation or Iwobi as AM ,Ebuehi and Iheanacho starting i don't see us making it.

Imagine just an hours to the match Rohr was saying this team is for the future, going to war already defeated, such statement is for weaklings.

Let's see how it goes against Iceland but i will like to see Ebuehi taking Shehu's place,Ekong out for Omeruo just too glaring the stage is big for him.Mikel fallen deep, Ndidi just need to raise his game,Iheanacho should start,Iwobi need to raise his game even as winger but hope to see him as AM but Rohr is tactical inept, just my concerns cos right from Poland we are having issues,no cohesion in our games and very funny no solutions to our poor response to set pieces.

''It's difficult to explain, we knew our weakness, two goals, two set-pieces, difficult,'' Mikel told reporters at the mixed zone after the game.

''We have to keep going, try to improve on our set-pieces and try to keep improving our defense, this is four goals now we have conceded from set-pieces.

''We try everyday in training to correct it, it is difficult o explain.''

My answer is simple. You have to be good at converting set pieces yourselves at training. Else you won’t be able to accertain, if you are making improvements in defending them.

U never liked the idea of fielding this young man, Ebuehi and Uzoho but they keep proving u wrong while your loved ones (Shehu et al) keeps pooing on your face.

The Awaziem I saw under Ranieri isn't bad at all. Thats is not to say Ekong is bad but Awaziem is statistically better.

Match stats.

Neither Uzoho nor Subasic had a save to make all match but we still lost 2:0. Should have been a goalless draw atleast if we were better organized.

Enjoying the feeling u said? I am Nigerian and Eagles failure is mine also because it denies me my bragging right in the midst of other Africans.

That said, I will reiterate, I never said it was a joke calling Rohr inept, I only said it was a joke calling for his sack and it was also a joke saying I didn't know the moniker klexycole. U guys should stop looking for a cheap format to get at me.
