how would you know if the budget was padded? u all should stop defending what is indefensible.If NASS add an extra 3 billion to a project, or if the executive add an extra 10 billion to another project, how would u (a common man) know?. Too much grama without progress

Only ignorant people will support NASS fully on this issue. I think it's time to let the courts interprete the relevant sections of the constitution that deals with the budget process. The current uncoordinated and unfocused system will take us nowhere.

President Jonathan had said that a new international terminal for the Enugu Airport will cost N13 billion naira. The question is, has any funds been committed to build the international terminal. Is there any budgetary allocation for the terminal for the year 2015? The answer is negative. Therefore the Enugu Airport project is a 419.

their is no other fact to be expect, NASS just defended there action, figures the executives posted were neither discredited.
i was feeling the NASS in some areas until it got to health & education sector ,those are needs of our nation why the cut ,,all these appropriation makeup from trust fund naa scam.
NASS inflated there cost even add executives so as not to raise eye brows from the public .... savings naija cost only to increase there own section of the budget,, talking of high cost of living what happens to the masses they represent who will increase there salary, who will inflated civil servant salaries aint we all under the same harsh economy .
