@POLITICSNGR The United States has reacted to the recent spate of killings in Plateau state. PoliticsNGR has been furnished with a statement from the US Consulate in Nigeria. They condemned the attack and revealed that they join President Buhari to condole with the victims of the attack. The letter read; The United States condemns in the strongest possible terms the killing of civilians and destruction of property in Nigeria’s Middle Belt region over the weekend. We are concerned by the recent increase in armed violence against civilians and call on all political and community leaders to lend their voices to peace and to work together to find lasting solutions to these rural conflicts. Question to ask is why now? To stop Buhari from either contesting or winning the coming elections? Nigeria has got enough military force to deal decisively with both the Boko Haram and these Fulani herdsmen or whoever they truly are. That Buhari has failed to declare a state of emergency in Benue and Plateau states is a grace failing on his part. He has consistently looked the other way when it came to tackling the herdsmen crisis. Buhari is a mega failure. Even if the dollar becomes one naira today, Buhari has failed.
