TMA & EXAM BRIEFING

☑Without the submission of TMA1, 2 and 3 you cannot pass your exam.

☑If non of your TMA is not available yet, HOLD ON and patiently wait if they will release TMA1 during TMA 2 period.

☑Do not partake in any exam that the TMA is not available because if you do you will fail.

☑If you did not register a course or all your courses for exam their TMA will not be available.

☑TMAs are not available for some courses because they are not examinable (YOU ARE TO WRITE A REPORT OR BUSINESS PLAN & DO PRESENTATION).

☑Your TMA score is also a key to a good grade. ( IF YOU HAVE GOOD SCORES IN ALL YOUR TMAs YOUR EXAM IS 40% CORVERED).

☑If all the options in your TMA question are equal or you were marked wrong after choosing and submitting the right answer or option, kindly note the Question number and take it to your center to make a complaint.

☑If all your TMA options are correct, kindly screenshot or snap the question then you send it to your study centre ICT department mail or you visit your center ICT department for proper rectification.

☑Revise your TMA because 40% of your questions may come from it.

☑Read extensively and intensively.

☑Do not flaunt your TMA printout because your matric number is vividly written on it.

EXAM BRIEFING

☑Your matric number is your username and password but let your password letters be in lower case(small letter)

☑Endeavor to be in the school premises 30mins before the exam to ease tension, stress and rush.

☑Do not leave your exam slip and ID card at home because that's your permit to the exam hall.

☑Kindly check where you sit if there is any implicating object and if found report to the examiner immediately.

☑Make sure you fill in the blank space correctly while filling your subjective. (FILL THE ANSWER EXACTLY THE WAY IT'S WRITTEN IN NOUN STUDY MATERIAL).

☑P.O.P is for 300level above while E-EXAM is for 200level downward.

☑P.O.P- theory only
E-EXAM- objectives and subjectives(FILL IN THE GAPS)

☑Some of your courses are P.O.P in 100level and 200level especially LAW students. (DO CHECK THE FINAL P.O.P TIMETABLE SO THAT YOU WON'T BE LEFT OUT)

☑Do not bring your valuable things to the center except you have a car or safe place to keep them because during the exam period some people would come from their home to make other people cry.

☑Be conscious of time because exam is not like TMA. (YOU HAVE LIMITED TIME IN THE EXAM HALL)

☑Quickly report to the ICT agents or examiners in the hall if you are facing any difficulties or your system is malfunctioning.

☑Don't be too nervous and relaxed in the exam hall.

☑Make sure you submit and log out your system properly before leaving the exam hall.

☑Learn how to make use of notepad to jot down some necessary things during the exam.

☑Plain sheet of paper will be given to those offering calculation courses in the hall for solving or calculating.

☑Indecent dressing attracts full focus on you. Dress decently to the hall.

☑Quickly report any disturber or disrupter before both of you are caught.

☑P.O.P students write your matric number well spelt on your answer booklet for proper recording to avoid missing script.

☑Kindly improve in your handwriting and make it clear because the markers are human being like us you don't expect them to use microscope before they could see your handwriting.

PAST QUESTIONS (PQ); THE BEST BET TO WRITE AND PASS NOUN POP EXAM

What is a past question A past question (PQ) according to wikipedia is an examination paper from a previous exam, usually used
either for exam practice or for tests.

As we all know that NOUN pop-exam has not been an easy exam but believe Me NOUN pop-exam is a walk in the park for some of Us., How is that possible?
One of the problem will do face is we dont know how NOUN pop-exam is been set, how it looks like, the PQ will let one be acquainted with how the questions is been set, coupled with been familiar with the likely questions, in NOUN pop-exam questions are fond of been repeated year in, year out.
A case study is CHM 311 questions like what is authocthonus? allochthonus, diagenesis, List and discus 3 stage of sediment evolution this questons were all repeated in the year 2012,2013 and 2014 and some other question like that. So tell Me if they bring such questions for Me in the forthcoming exam won't I murder the questions? I will answer it with ease, no sweat and not eating the Biro base.

What You need to do? Get some PQ's from school library or online (Google is Your friend), put Ur material/Manual beside it and start checking each question and the solution from the manual/textbook, write out everything and take Your time to read it over and over again (midnight preferably) and the forthcoming pop-exam will be a walk in the park for You.

Try that little work and:- eating of pen base, counting of ceiling, sleeping, peeping beside someone will be a thing of the past.

Do you want to pass POP exams? Contact Me now 08185025045

If yes, then you have to read your materials and also lay your hands on past question papers.

Hey tojued, so you're here too. grin grin

Thanks for your prompt response. I have some other questions, I hope there is no 'page 0' for this thread.

I actually want to see if I can do masters in information technology to boost my crs score for EE. I should be on crs score of 433 if my EOR is upgraded as expected (8,8.5,7,7 to 8,8.5,7.5,7.5).

Please what's the average duration of masters program at NOUN? I really wish I could get one for 12 months. Do I need to attend lectures? Or do I self study then show up for exams and project?

I understand that they don't have masters in engineering so I want to go for masters in information technology. I don't know if I will be allowed to go this route.

Thanks for your time.

Yes I'm here smiley

I'm not very grounded in NOUN admissions and programs but their website is fairly accurate. You can check registrable courses for msc IT to be sure it's only 2 semesters (project included). If officially it's only two semesters, then you can complete in one year.

There are no lectures. It's all self study and appear for exams once a semester. Duration is individual. There's a maximum number of units you can register but no minimum. Some people conclude in prescribed 1-2 years others take forever. Also there's no general rule all departments and courses have individual guidelines.

GST (The Good Study Guide) exam is an E-exam, therefore, you can't feasibly find it on the POP Exam Timetable.
All E-exams comes up after Pen-on-paper (POP) exams.

As the POP exam begins today for 300 level and above, I have few precautions and tips for you:

1. Ensure you get to your exam venue on time to relax and revise your material.

2. Remember to go with your exam slip.

3. Don't feel pompous in exam hall and at the same time respect exam rules and regulations.

4. Attempt the questions you know first before the ones you don't.

5. This is a writing exam, if you don't know a question, still find a way around it and write something on it. Writing something similar is better than not writing at all.

6. Crosscheck your works before you submit.

7. Ensure you mark the attendance.

8. Check your seat well before starting. Don't implicate and don't get implicated.

9. If you are quick to finish, moderately and maturely assist your neighbor. Note, moderation and maturity.

10. And finally, pray before and after.

May the Lord lead you through.

MY ADVICE TO ALL P.O.P EXAM TAKERS

Kindly check and download the final timetable yourselves on NOUN website which is www.nouedu.net so that you won't miss any exam and stop depending on your friends timetable. Who knows if he or she has drafted the wrong one‍♂.

Please help if you missed TMA 1 is it advisable to do 2 and 3 or just forget it and shift the course to next semester. Then how do you remove a course you couldn't write the tma at postgraduate level? Thanks.

why, just make sure score 10/10 in your remaining tmas. Just like someone that scored 7+7+7=21 (in all tmas) asking if he would pass.
Just try and score 30- 35/70 in your exam and you're safe

cheers
