I've never for once seen you post any successful outings on our trips.could it be that bad? or could it be that there's something you're hiding from us ? you saw a gathering of your brethren and you couldn't think to infiltrate their ranks for FREE information, that you may never get on his thread?because you think they're gossips? really? do you know the tons of information you just powdered because of your personal opinion? as a rookie, you need to be empowered. the more u talk(mostly out of context).the more of yourself U reveal sir and not in a good light at that.

1. Do u realize the ones who periodically get laid off by banks, oil companies etc, once had your FIXED SALARY?
Nigeria's largest P&G plant In ogun state closes down this month and many more Nigerians will lose their jobs with a once FIXED SALARY

2. I'd like to assume u know what job security means; if u tell urself that exists in this economy..I dunno what to say to u anymore

3. Whoever said to dip his legs wholly in a river?
It's so strange how u badly describe a vocation over 10,000 riders are currently engaged in; in a bid to make someone get a point..
It's either u are not happy with yourself or your job;
either ways...neither of them is a recipe for progress.

grin grin On a lighter note tho..ppl who worship a 180k+ job in the name of fixed salary are just the types who are afraid to take giant strides in their life..
The types that are more interested in monthend alerts than the value they add to the organisations themselves.
I don't advocate for quitting his job outrightly..but u supporting the idea that e-hailing biz is useless enough to go back to a 180k+ job for, is hypocrisy to me

In the end.its the ones who were stupid enough to take the steps u refused to take that end up employing u..so u can get a FIXED SALARY that u want, coz u are afraid to make money by virtue of your direct input.

I now understand u bro..
The Ambition defines the Man

Your present and future generations shall inherit the earth my brother .. It shall be very well with them

Hahahahahaha let me laugh well jare.... I never knew I’ve set this thread on fire with my comment. A lot of u even went back to former post to discredit me. Well I’m not employed by anyone of u, I own my own car and I have another car, I can show u proof if u want to. I drove on rental for like a year and I didn’t make much more to buy me a car that’s Uber ready. Until I got an offline trip through a friend to Anambra that lasted a month 50k to and fro then 20k for every day I spend in anambra. I used my small car that’s I’ve always had to do the job, I made about 500k on that trip, then got an offer of a Tokunbo unpopular car. I sold the smaller car to get something tangible. I called Gazuz for advice but he discouraged me on that particular brand which I understand but I was bent on leaving the slavery of paying the better part of my earnings to someone. The car has been somehow problematic but I drive it myself and it’s better than being anyone’s slave. I got the car and luckily, the same client that took me to anambra referred me to someone else, that got me 400k richer. Within four months, with rigorous stress on Uber and support from family members living abroad that wants me to reduce d stress I go through, I managed to buy another car that I put on rental for 25k per week, my reason is based on my experience on the job. D driver doesn’t owe and we are good like that.
Now to my earlier post, I used d word rubbish because of the fare rate and 25% commission charged by Uber. And if I’m to have a job of 180k now, trust me I will never leave it to drive taxi. I will not leave certainty for uncertainty.
And for the fools talking about applying for jobs on Nairaland, sho mo age mi ni, I’m not looking for job in Nigeria anymore, I have other plans as this will also be my last year driving Taxi..

To the internet does not forget crew, my message is comming late cos I’ve been on an offline trip since Wednesday, I took someone to anambra for a burial and also to visit Holy Ghost ministry of Adoration (Ebube Monso). I just entered Lagos now now now grin and I just got 100k richer. grin

Certainty could be a trap though smiley As many people have been held up in that Certainty for so long that they are incapable of trying new things or even desire to be better.

How can you compare someone with a fix salary with Uber Job? Someone who is sure of his regular salary at the end of the month. Even if he spent all the time gossiping or idling he's sure of his salary But then I see you were the one that didn't think deeply before replying and I won't bother replying you again. Read my comment again, okay what I actually mean in a sarcastic tone is they sit down there gossiping or be sleeping in their cars because of no request. I will never discourage anyone that want to quit his job to join Uber, like I said earlier let him use some weeks maybe during leave to try first before finally making up his mind to quit his job. You don't dip your two legs at once into a river you don't know how deep it is. Thanks

with the above, i am sure u have never worked in an organisation b4. who told u that salary is sure at the end of the mnth? nd who will still keep paying u when all u do is gossip all day? hmmmm

My guy said it is possible to take home 100k a week ,if you own the car obviously...

Yes you can make 100k net(after commission) weekly with very hardwork and long hours.

But, how sustainable is it? Doing it week in week out is a mirage. Either it tells on your health or your standard of lifestyle.

Also, after making the 100; fuel, tickets/tolls, car wash must have had their share. Say 30%.

So let's all be realistic and stop painting this 100k picture over and over

Yes he cannot. Week in week out.

Taxify giving drivers health insurance for doing 200 trips a month knows what the implication is to achieve such.

I don't think you understood the point I was trying to make, I didn't fault drivers gathering together to gist. I also join anytime I see such gathering. My point is if the requests are coming as portrayed here by dru and co people will hardly have time for such gatherings. Please you people should stop quoting me out of context.

I understood everyone's view. I often comment on the thread mostly whenever I see a wrong figure, wrong info about the biz and fraud alert.

Newbies need to learn from our experience ( both drivers and partners)
You are mostly on point when you talk on behalf of car owner partners and often wrong when you talk on behalf of drivers.

Advise base on your own experience and defend your point like you have always been doing like a professional cars owner.

And let your driver come proof themselves to shed more light to how they meet upto 100k net everyweek for 4months n more with proof of evidences.

I ve loads of screenshot of my activities. And can only argue base on the type of car I drive.

I wont say this is bad energy ,so what u are saying is that ,people dont make up to 10k or 8k everyday after paying fees and fuel at most on dis biz again ? I nust want to know

10k daily won't sum up bro.

14k3 net all days a week no rest makes 100k

Do the math

(Besides, from statistics how many drivers make 70k net every week.)

Get my point.
