I don't think WES accept LoA. Get your transcripts and MSc certificate from UNILAG. Not difficult at all.
What if I didn't complete an Msc programme(some carry over inclusive), can I still use a transcript frm unilag that way

I'm new here...Thanks for this thread so far. My situation right now is that, my agent and i had a discussion on Canadian permanent residence for my husband, daughter and i, he said he would do it for 3.5 and we started the process, after a year and half i got a call from him for biometrics, we went to Lagos for biometrics, but when the visa came out, it was mine that got approved and guess what I got? Visitor's visa. The issue now is that my husband and daughter weren't given. He promised to do it and ask my husband to come for another biometrics but He's requesting for 3.5 million for visitor's visa. I'm think in of going to canada first and if there's a way I can legally stay in the country and bring my husband and daughter legally. OR should I wait for him to do my hubby's own, then go together and claim asylum? Pls I really need a useful advice right now, I'm seriously in a dilemma

Wait, I'm trying to get you correctly; you paid 3.5m to agent for him to process visa for you? Well, before you even do anything; ensure you know the information he filled on you and your family behalf.

Secondly, for a vistor's visa; I will not advise you to do beyond visit and return if you have a dream of permanently relocating to Canada with your family.

Thirdly, you do not need any agent at all. You can do all yourself and successfully have your Permanent Residence. Whats your age, highest degree of you and spouse? And u will need to write IELTS exam with your spouse.

Lastly, please bury the idea of asylum. There's a pathway already and just believe you can do it.

Goodness gracious!!!! That's how an agent got a friend banned from the UK for false information. See the only thing I can use an agent for is house.

Back to your case. Get the documents he used and read the information he entered if you want to start this PR process so that you don't have a misrepresentation issue. Get rid of his number you don't need it. Nairaland threads on all things canadian express entry and living in canada will do you alot of good. Start from the first page.

The thing with your Canadian visa I don't know if it will help if you use it before the PR process as there's a section for travel history or if it won't matter or raise a visa officer's eye brow as to why you haven't used it.

. You'll get guidance from here and Google..What baffles me is that those agents sef never cross boarder. Most of them don't even have passport undecided so how do you entrust your application on someone who hasn't been there or isn't a frequent flier or a professional agency? For me when I hear travel agent I think ticket booking not visa application cheesy

Anyways remain calm, be patient (some hate reading terms n conditions) but you'll have to read this one so as to get it right.

Good luck

Hello everyone. I have been following the thread and I must say it has been really helpful.
I am a 30yrs old married female with a child. I did my ielts in June and had a score of lrws-8.5,8,6.5,8. Right now my CRS stands at a mere 371 so I am looking at the pnp route.
Now I want to know if there is anyone who is a member of the Chatered Institute of Arbitrators and if you had your CIArb certificate evaluated? If yes does that mean I can claim points for 2 post secondary certificates?

Age is on your side sis and your ielts score ain't bad. Check your score again using this link

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/criteria-comprehensive-ranking-system/grid.html

But you may still have to rewrite ielts or go for reevaluation of that 6.5.

Goodluck

Please encourage her to rewrite. The chances of the draw cut offs coming down is quit slim, not absolutely impossible though. The sooner, the better !

Please let her rewrite the ielts exam. Better scores can give you additional points that can push you to 441 and above. She should improve on listening and reading. Even having a 6.5 on each of them can do the magic. All the best

Not sure how it will be evaluated. Masters is not inbetween, either you have completed it or not.

You may inquire from the evaluation bodies.

'Study towards maters'. WES do recognises it.

Good evening everyone. Congratulations to all those who received ITA and PPR recently. To those waiting for Ielts, ECA and Ppr, it shall come speedily.
Please I need your advice on this. I am the principal applicant and while filling the EE profile, under work history for my spouse I filled no as advised since I am not going to claim points and cannot provide a reference letter for her.
This is post ITA and I am filling the forms. I captured her her previous job under the personal history section as also advised.
My question is this, under the work history section which is separate from the personal history section should I still fill No?
Thanks for your responses.

Wow! shocked This is so sad.
So sorry about the time and money lost. Thank God you found this thread. It is a DIY way of getting a permanent residence in Canada.
Like others have advised, put yourself together and get all the information used on the form. Gather as much details as possible.

Answers to these questions below will help direct you further.
Do you and your spouse have a degree or two? Do you have working experience? What's your age and that of your spouse? The answer to this questions will suggest which route you should take. EE or PNP.

On page one, you will find all the necessary info you will need to get you started.

Don't loose hope.
It will end in praise IJN.

What?
3.5 Milla is not beans, this is clear case of man's inhumanity to man. Sister, you have been defrauded by this so called agent, and he will still feast on you further if he/she is given the room.
Only God knows the details he used to secure your visitors visa, as it might be falsehood based. So, I will advice you to forget the idea of traveling with that visa and also forget the asylum road, because it is totally illegal and you will be rejected when you don't have strong proofs, and that is back to square zero.
Humble yourself and invest time to read through the road to PR here, part 1 -4 with special emphasis on famous page one. If you do, I am sure you would have covered at least 60-70% enroute to your PPR testimony. I wish you all the best in life devoid of such sad tale.

This ONLY works for course by course evaluation. CIC have removed 'study towards master degree' from its list and WES will ONLY evaluate completes degree for ECA.
This is my opinion... you can research more on this

Wow! These statistics are very good for this journey as both of you got advantage of age, your French degree will do you good if you can converse in French and also take TEF along side IELTS for higher scores. Try and locate the crs simulator to see your present scores and think of how to boost it with additional degree if need be.
