Very misleading.

Does this also mean 119 million Nigerians live in poverty in 2030 that we are yet to get into?

And for those posting rubbish calling buhari and passing judgment, how many times will they fool you? can any of you point at any time you witnessed anybody coming to you, your friends, your colleagues, neighbour or anybody you know whether in your state or another state to collect data that gave rise to this report? I am not aware likewise everyone here, so It lacks credibility.

But Buhari voters are not interested in these woes from Buhari govt.

All they are interested in is Muhammadu Buhari to continue as president to drive their Islamization agenda.

100Million Nigerians were in poverty in 2014...

So?

I hope you haven't traded your reasoning ability for 30,000 BMC monthly allowance?

If 100 million Nigerians were in poverty in 2014, why did Nigeria had to wait till 2018 to overtake India with less than 82 million people living in poverty now ?

Don't allow petty politics to becloud your sense of reasoning...

All because of a tyrant who made us believe he could get our country working again

Buhari is the biggest fraud Nigeria ever witnessed since Independence.

The tyrant (also con artist) shed crocodile tears at the suffering of Nigerians when he realized he could not win any elections, he deceived Nigerians into thinking he cared about them, he conned Nigerians.

Buhari aides and abates deep deep corruption within his government, talk less of fighting corruption in the country. Budget padding for instance costs Nigeria billions that could be invested into the economy to create millions of jobs. Instead of fighting the corruption he promised Nigerians, he’s instead borrowing to fund corruption.

Buhari has played all his cards, we now know he’s a con artist, a fraud, incompetent and unqualified for the position he was trusted with. He failed at every promise he made to Nigerians.

Never again!

Please mention one Nigerian politician with any clout outside of the country.. They are seen as clowns and this geriatric Fvck is a prime example.
Buhari is a Cvnt and so are the ret@rded mods of nairaland who ban people just for speaking the truth and against the terrorist religion of Piss.

Over 1.1 million Nigerians have slip into extreme poverty in just four months, TheCable can report.

This has brought the number of Nigerians living in extreme poverty — or below $1.90 a day — to 88 million.

In June 2018, the Brookings Institution named Nigeria as the poverty capital of the world, with 86.9 million extremely poor people.

Nigeria overtook India as the world poverty capital, despite being six times smaller in population than the Asian country.

This is not news!! I repeat this is no longer news!!! Nigeria is fast sinking into the abyss and millions will soon face imminent starvation if things continue like this!!

I'm now scared of picking calls from unknown numbers because a significant number of them are either asking for help or loans!!

This has gone beyond be careful, and if by chance Buhari remains beyond 2019, millions may die or become economic refugees in neighboring countries!!!

Everywhere you turn to in this godforsaken country, what will stare back at you is unbridled poverty!!!
