Tinubu the political sage of our time. My political role model and mentor. The JAGABAN of Africa. As a youth. If you wanna go far in politics, study how Tinubu plays the game of politics. This man is just too much abeg.

Ambode is the most useless sitting governor that i have seen that gave up to his benefactor without a fight. Except he has a plan- B for Tinubu on gubernatorial day.

Awo time has gone. Time has changed. you can't compare the way politics was been played in the days of Awo to our time today. Anyways Tinubu is still a force to be reckoned with not just in South West, but Nigeria as a whole.

The Great Awo would be shaking his head in the grave. Young man, better study Awo and not Tinubu's amala and gbegiri politics

You what life experience do you have of awolowo? The only thing you probably know of him may just be what you were told or read. So don't equate it to a personal experience else you want to sound immodest.

I recall Tinubu as governor. He appointed Igbos to his cabinet. Ben Akabueze who does national planing for Buhari, once did same for Lagos.

Tinubu had a spelling competition for young lads. Whoever won, was made governor for Lagos for a day. As in Tinubu literally vacated Alausa for the champ. He or she would travel with DSS escorts in Tinubus armoured jeep and wear his trademark cap, and seat on his seat. I recall, a certain Ebuka was the first beneficiary of this gesture. You need to see how Tinubu and his wife feted that boy. I was jealous.

Say what you like about Tinubu and Lagos, I've never witnessed large scale discrimination against Igbos.

Go to Lagos inland revenue service, you'd see Igbos working there. Are there no better educated Yorubas? Yet, Igbos are given some consideration.

I witnessed same in Ogun state.

Maybe, it's all these things that will make someone begin to imagine that Lagos is no man's land.

Lagos must Be protected

The greatest cities in the world usually have a heterogenous population of people. Yorubas alone couldn't have made Lagos what it is today. Even the massive population of Lagos which gives it one of its bragging rights is contributed to a large extent by Igbos and all other Nigerians. Much of the amenities Lagos enjoys were built to service all Nigerians.
Stop thinking like a 17th Century African. Think like a 21st Century human living in a modern world.
The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan is Pakistani - British man. Obama is a Kenyan American. These are the realities of the modern world.
Igbos shouldn't only be good for paying taxes in Lagos. They should be able to live and work comfortably in any sector in Lagos too. Some of them were born and raised there while some of you that make noise on social media have never lived in Lagos for even a month. You're not more Lagos than they are.

Keep fooling yourself.. His popularity is not beyond west where Yoruba's brain there is filled with Amala and ewedu.

Awo too was a Crook in his days.. forget all those cooked up hyping. No politician is a saint.

We like crook like that.
The kind of crook that build the first modern stadium in Nigeria is a good crook.
The one that provide free and qualitative education is a good one.
The one that bring the first television in Africa is a very very good crook.

If his peers in the North and East has done that, the country could have been in an unbelievable level but were busy with THEIR things.

He won't be defeated because he never fights square. Being an agbero himself, he will bring his colleagues to burn ballot boxes in areas of Igbo concentration. I refuse to acknowledge a criminal.
