Thank you so much. Can she use account statements of two of her children or funds should be moved into one account?

What other documents will I provide asides invitation letter, proof of address, account statement/payslips as I will be responsible for accommodation and feeding while she's here

Do I need to transfer money for flight ticket into her account and explain in the coverletter as my own contribution towards the trip?

I'm very sorry for all these questions if they are annoying, I'm just confused

The only money you people will be spending here is her ticket and maybe £200-300 for her shopping nothing more, so there is no need moving money into her account.

In addition to all the documents you listed you also have to add proof of accommodation e.g tenancy agreement or mortgage papers.

Let your siblings sponsoring write a joint letter stating that they will be sponsoring her to the UK and that they will be paying for her ticket while you takes care of her accommodation and feeding. That they will also give her £200 or so amount for her shopping.

Then they will submit their bank statements, payment slips and employment letter just to support their source of income.

Good everyone

Please I need gurus in the house to enlighten me on this:

A colleague of mine is a Local Government Chairman in Kwara State and he intends to visit the UK for a period of 2 weeks. He has never traveled out of the country before and he is holding an OFFICIAL PASSPORT.

Do official passport holders apply online the same as Ordinary passport holders?

What is official passport?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ayinkala(m): 9:39pm On Apr 16, 2019
Official Passport is different from the common Regular passport. It is issued by the Government to Government officials (LGA chairmen, State governors etc)

Thank you so much for the explicit explanation. Like how much should I have in my own account for accommodation and feeding if I will be responsible for accommodation and feeding? Remember I'm on maternity leave and not collecting salary and no payslip from this month

I came in 2 months ago on a tier 2 visa. I plan to apply for my family (husband and 2 kids) after the 90 days has elapsed so the maintenance in my account is ok. Concerning accommodation what is the required accommodation for a family this size pls? My son's are aged 11yrs and 8yrs. I thought a 2 bedroom flat would be ok but someone told me that because of their age I need a three bedroom. Thanks for responding.

Yes you have to write IELTS for spouse visa or evaluate your degree certificate through NARIC UK else your application is likely to be refused

Does my spouse need to write IELTS for a tier 2 dependent visa?
Thanks so much.

You need to be patient, it's just little over a month so it's too early to panic unless you paid for priority service
Good morning justwise, i really appreciate all your response towards my questions here. Is it possible my documents would still be with UK visa section after i have received a message from them that my application has been dispatched? Cos no mail from tls office yet.

About 3 weeks ago a large sum was deposited into my account from one of the small organizations I work with . Please how do I go about clearing this up to the VO and what can I attach to prove to the VO that the money is indeed mine cos after reading through this thread I have seen they refuse becos of unexplainable large Sums. Thank you

If your employer ticked "Y" under maintenance funds in your CoS, you don't need to keep maintenance funds in your account for 90 days.

All you need is proof of accommodation which is your tenancy agreement. I applied for my family while staying in a shared apartment. I used tenancy agreement for the shared accommodation for the application and it was approved. A friend who applied for her husband and four children was staying in a room provided by her employer when she made the application and there was no issue at all. All the ECO is looking for is a proof of accommodation

My passport expires end of December 2019. I intend to apply for a visa sometime in May for a conference that holds in October.
Do I need to have at least 6 months validity on my passport to apply for a UK visa? When does this start to count - from the month I apply or my intended arrival date? Can someone explain how this works pls?

You need to keep calling and emailing them, have you visited the visa centre again? It shouldn't take this long after despatched email
