My earliest recollection was my mum holding my hands taking me to a middle aged woman'so shop in the next compound to buy sweet for me. This most likely will be sometime in 1992. 1 Like |

I've shared a personal story on this exact subject & people attacked me, calling me a liar lol. Still don't know what would compel me to lie about something like that. Anyways, I was talking to my mother & I asked her if she still remembered an incident that happened years ago. In my mind's eye I could see myself on the bed when it happened. It's nothing weird, I just don't wanna go into details on what exactly happened. She asked me how I knew about it. I told her I remember it & continued to give her more details to prove I still remember it as if it happened recently. The look on her face was of sheer horror. According to her I was only a couple of months old when it happened. Even today I don't know how I remembered, when I have memory gaps between age one & two. Generally my memory is very good. I remember a lot of things from childhood, like when I stole another girl's painting because mine was ugly & untidy I was in creche 2 Likes |

My earliest memory was an interesting one, I remember my mom carried me on her back to a friends house, wen we got there, I was placed on d bed, she was wiping my shitty butt wit some tissue paper, it was a room and parlour setting, there seems to be an occasion taking place in d house, I noticed a woman rolled a huge ball of tissue paper, she loosed her wrapper, she turned round n by d time she faced us, I didn't see d tissue paper again, helpless in d bed, I was lost in thoughts n was saying this woman just performed magic in my mind, I wanted to ask her where she vanished d tissue to, I guess no one understood d question I was asking... 1 Like 1 Share |

My earliest memory was damn funny. I think I was 4-5years of age then. So their was this girl named Amongst, she was celebrating her birthday which she brought some menu menu for we her classmates then. We were told to come outside so as to take pictures with the celebrant. We're all outside, so a friend of mine told Me to use left hand to dodge my eye from the camera that they might used our pictures for ritual, that which I did with him.. After like 12years later, the girl moved to my secondary school, I can still remember her vividly because she left my primary school for another school when she was in primary 2. We all get to roll with one of us that we're of same set in the primary school and also in same secondary school. On this fateful day, she brought the picture to school so as to show I and the other girl whom we both finished primary together and in the same secondary school. On seeing the picture, my mind went back to that statement latif said... I couldn't laugh.. I had to tell her the reason why we both did such.. Its damn so funny in class that day when I narrated the reason y I and latif Did such... 3 Likes 1 Share |

My earliest memory. ... I was standing, eyes focused on the early saturday morning sun rays as it filtered through the air ports on the blocks used on one side of our shared kitchen space. I remember eagerly waiting for the food lady to pass by as I anticipated the sweet inviting aroma of my bread and agoin beans breakfast. While I waited, the sun rays formed two very visible dust path through the otherwise dark kitchen and I wondered how it would feel to catch the rays in my hands... I was three years plus at the time 3 Likes |

Pls you need to take this idle time assignment to students in class 1 or 2, to evaluate their aptitude for prose writing or vivid imagination. You don't take an adult with lots of issues on his mind to topics on inanities or tales that make the brain go soft. |

My earliest memory was me being thrown repatedly in the air And me being so afraid to see the ground recede before my very eyes only to return into the arms of my uncle. I think they were also pounding yam right beside us. My uncle died some years back. Life wasn't good to him. He suffered a mental breakdown. Rest well, Bro Simeon. 2 Likes |

I was probably around 5, there was some sort of checkup going on the school, and we were asked to line up...boys and girls sperately. The first set of boys that came out said that the man inside the sickbay was putting his hand in their shorts and feeling their joysticks. WTF! I thought they were joking and was scared at the same time. I was a very quiet and private kid and this was very out of the ordinary and scary for me. I tried to run but one aunty brought me back to the queue. When it was my turn, it happened so fast and I didn't feel as awkward as before. But i still wonder what that checkup was about. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I was just about 1 year old, I can't really recall what happened or how it happened, seems like I was chasing a fowl that just hatched her eggs and came out with her chicks for the first time, they were eating rice that was on the ground. All of a sudden, their mother charged towards me and I saw myself flat down on my back, I don't know how I fell, the fowl pecked on my face or head like 3 times before my mom chased it away,i cried my eyes out and I felt like I was attacked by Boko Haram of today.that was my earliest memory at such a tender age because I don't think that uptil today,I have been terrified like I was that day and uptil now, I still got a great phobia for a chicken that newly hatched.each time I comes across one,i musters a lot of courage inside me before I can pass beside it and also maintains my step, may e no be like say big boy like me dey fear ordinary chicken. 3 Likes 1 Share |
