Let's not justify the innocence of the both tribe: Igbo and Yoruba; they all peddle drugs.

Why would she be attacking the messenger instead of the message itself??...we Nigerians are suffering from the products(outcome) of our misdeeds, whether directly or indirectly...blaming it all on racism isn't gona solve the problem, knowing fully well that we are the cause of it...

On behalf of Nwamikpe and the rest of the crew, I hereby applaud this Lady for this beautiful piece. This is what the unpopular definition of motivation, and not aspire to inspire to...whatever.
We as a Nigerian people are hardworking, we have never been branded as saints anyway.
It’s part of being Nigerian.

Till I become President of The Federal Republic, let us endure what we have been giving and have faith that we shall overcome.
God Bless Nigeria!!!

If you are a nurse like this woman and you specialize in OB/GYN you can earn as high as 330kUSD a year. That's the craze. The money
Where in America do nurses earn 330k a yr? Nurses that are overworked and stressed out, leading to a high burn out rate.

the US is overhyped

wonder wetin people still dey find there undecided undecided

their infrastructure etc way behind the Gulf and countries like japan

lest their healthcare can make you homeless

I think this infrastructure thing is overhype....
America developed it's infrastructure over 5 decades ago while gulf n China infrastructure is recent...
The later will look new...

Besides, Africans don't relocate because of skyscraper or smooth road....
The main reason behind relocation is better wages n career opportunties as well as respect for personal freedom n basic rights...
And America beats any emerging nation when it comes to this....
Thats why trend of migration remain westernward despite Asian n gulf countries economic rise....
If u need to see modern skyscrapers or high speed rail...
Take a holiday to China or dubai...
That's all....

Your head dey dia.I don't know why people see this obi fraud thing as the preserve of the igbos alone. All tribes in Nigeria are involved. Yorubas too are into it wella just that it's not their turn yet to be caught.Where I used to stay in Ibadan, I knew a yoruba guy with his Urhobo friend whose fraud business is legendary.I remember my sister with whom i was staying hated them with passion that time when she discovered what line of business they were into.I know it's a matter of time before they are caught.Let's calm down and stop the blame game. The whites don't see tribe, they only see Nigerian

This is the problem right here, instead of her to attack the problem, she’s attacking white Americans. If you don’t like where you are leave, simple.

Iblad0994:
"Corporate America is notoriously unfriendly when it comes to the hardworking black immigrant."

The bolded statement is what I call fallacy of hasty generalization. When will people learn to stop judging the USA by the action of Trump. I have been working here and my colleagues have always value us Africans for our brilliance and passion for work.

Although she is right about the recent fraud issue coz I am really bothered by the news of the FBI 80 which was on the front page of CNN website when it occurred. The implication is that my colleagues will try to view Nigerians from that angle even if they are not willing to say it.

The scammers are hurting us indirectly, but most especially they are hurting people in Nigeria that are trying to migrate here more. The day I almost regretted being a Nigerian is when one Indian colleague told me in the midst of other colleagues that Nigerians are mostly scammers in Atlanta, he said it immediately I told him I'm from Nigeria, although I defended Nigeria and told him we are not a nation of scammer but the stigma still sticks anytime I remember that day.

I hope people change and stop this get rich quick by any means syndrome.

I still don’t think it’s wrong. You quoted her point but the only thing u said was wrong with it was the Argumentum ad Populum not the her whole point. But u quoting it felt like u wanted to debunk something more. People say thing in generalization these days but we all know everyone don’t act the same way. Bottom line all all the points she made is true.
