SE is the only region dealing with this stuff effectively...

SE doesn't have more than a single testing laboratory that is in Ebonyi.. Kano has 2, lagos has 7, chances are SE are not even carrying out any test as we speak... again SE doesn't have a functional International Airport, Kano and Lagos both has two of the busiest in the country, so they are prone to foreigners bringing in the virus directly, while SE bound travelers get quarantines in Lagos or Portharcourt

hmmm, 595 cases in 3 days, and we are lifting the lockdown, I hope
we don't regret this in the coming weeks, developed nations are
flattening the curve before easing lockdown, but here we have not
even peaked yet and we rushing back to the streets, I just feel pity for
alot of people that would contract this virus due to impatient, I won't
blame people that would troop out,all the donation the govt have
received where are the monies ?

it's easier said for you guys to keep shouting lockdown upandan. what about hunger and daily bread? will you feed us? no!

I'd rather get COVID 19 and die whilst hustling for my stomach than sit put at home doing nothing while hunger fades my life away slowly. the choice is ours.

make Dem lift lockdown jor. pesin wey go die go die.

The lockdown has failed, and these are just the reported cases, the true figures will be truly shocking. Hopefully the purported hot weather that is claimed to be protective against this virus comes in handy because the Nigerian Government did not use this lockdown to equip the dying hospitals, did not build emergency hospitals and have not provided palliative measures for its citizens. God help Nigerians.
Hot weather has passed. We're now in rainy season.

For 3 consecutive days now, death toll hadn't been anything less than 5. It's really scaring. It is.

that doesn't mean SE is handling the issue effectively, it only shows, the region is more like a dry region that people don't travel to, that's why no cases, nothing going on there.

The truth is that, if you speak this way in a sane society like the USA, trust me you will receive a lot of backlash, just imagine "people wey go die go die". Be careful what you wish for, anyone can die yes.. But if u start loosing people who are precious to you or about 100,000 deaths are being recorded in the space of a month.. It is this same you that will come back to say the government is stupid for lifiting the lockdown, you won't even dare step out of your home... This is a serous risk we are taking as a state in lagos and as such we need to be honest with ourselves... It is an healthy person that will even think of food or even going to work, so we must thread with caution and as such warn anyone taking the risk of going out there for any means of survival, so they don't throw caution to the wind. We all seek for the protection of the Almighty in this perilous time.

You made a valid point, but you didn't answer that one question that changes everything.... "would you feed him"?

We may have good structured jobs that may keep paying salaries or stipends while on lockdown, have we thought about majority that have not earned a dime in 5weeks and counting?

If the Govt is not coming to their rescue, the fortunate ones have exhausted giveaways, what next for vast majority of poor ones?...

I think at this point, we should encourage people to practice effective precautions while making a living, if we cant help their situations..

Small small, Kano has started the overtaking. Yet Ganduje wants the restrictions to be relaxed so that people can buy food. Issokay o. Sebi we are all watching. I just hope we don't go the way of Wuhan, where people were dying on the streets before we have sense. undecided

Its only the government workers are saying extend the lockdown cos they are sure of getting alert at month ending. What of daily earners like us that have exhausted our little resources.
