I like this except the account part is kind of grey. My wife and I are both professionals so we both bring home descent incomes. We have seperate checking accounts. We have separate savings account. Then we have a joint investment account and joint bills account. We both contribute equally into the joint investment and joint bills every month. I have no hatred towards them as a collective simply because some were also against the laws of the time. Also, because it's pointless, what's done is done. So why carry that bitterness in my heart when I got much better things or more pulling issues in my own life to expend energies on? Hate takes way too much energy for me, I prefer indifference because I thrive for inner balance. So yeah, that's my stance on that. There're some people who still feel resentful though, that's their own baby to carry & emotions at stake, so they can knock themselves out, really.

I wouldn't say it's like that over here because for one, we're not in awe of them & with good reasons, are very wary of them as a rule of thumb. There're a few people married to white men though, but they usually date or marry foreign white men, not the ones over here lol. Black South African men rarely date outside of their race or nationality for that matter.
