I changed the tyres of a toyota camry 2001 model (drop light) from the regular P205/65/R15 to P215/65/R15.

It was also gauged at 40psi.

This act improved the height of the vehicle though. But i would like to hear from the house as regards remarks and suggestions.

Let me tell you my personal experience with tires. I use to buy tokunbo tire until one day, the passenger side rear tokunbo tire that was fitted on my car exploded on third main land bridge and even before that, I have experienced burst tire two previous occasion. They were all tokunbo tires. Each time I always steer the car to safety.
After the last episode, I bought four double king tires and up till now, I have not experienced burst tire again or even flat tire. I also make sure the tire pressure is not more than 35psi with my personal tire guage.
On the other hand, I asked a friend that work in the same office with me to buy double king as I did and he took my advice. But instead he chose to make the tire pressure 45psi and he travelled to delta State with the car after which the tire got swollen and he has since changed the tire and maintain the psi at 35 now.
Hence, original double king is good just like other good tires in the market but the psi is very important too.

Still okay ironheart, just keep 35-40psi unless it's will be jumping on speed, vibrate, I use 2 2016 Michelin energy saver from UK 195-65R15 on my front leg 99 camry and d tire cool, got bridgetsone at back psi @45 though max psi is 51 as written on the sidewall

I don’t take chance with the tyre pressure as I tend to lose grip if they are not correct. Also, with incorrect tyre pressure we tend to lose more fuel when we drive our car. I fill the pressure generally upto 35 psi but it depends on what car you are driving. Generally, I go to the garage and check it as it’s not a doesn’t cost too much.
