Good day mums.
Compliments of the season.
Sure your little ones are doing great.

Pls I would love to get suggestions on the issue below.
My little prince would be 6months in a few days time and I am a bit confused on the food and formula milk to give him. We have been on EBF all this while. I am a FTM.

Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is a good resource for weaning meals for babies.

For milk, age appropriate formula is what you need. However, if you can id suggest you keep breastfeeding and mixing his supplement meals with Breastmilk.

Hi mothers.. Pls my 1yr old boy's poo is hard as stone and black. He usually peels the wall in my house to eat. I don't know if that's the cause. I've given him medicine and oranges but no changes.
Pls what do I do?

Hello House,

My child is 4days old today..but since yesterday I noticed his eyes are having yellow spots..not too much...he is feeding well, sleeps well and poops well. What do you advise I do?

Have heard many advice like the one stated below:

- Expose him to early morning sunlight
- Pawpaw drink
- To keep breastfeeding him that it will go
naturally

What do I do?

Change his diet to foods like beans and sweet potatoes, also when giving him oranges, peel them like tangerines so that he'll eat the back because the juice alone won't do much. Make sure he drinks enough water through the day.

The best thing would be to take him back to the hospital so that they'll check the level, its the level that'll determine if its something you can manage at home.

Also 4 days is too young for concoctions please. Just breastfeed a lot and do early morning sunshine.

Merry Christmas to y'all.

Please mamas, how do you manage your brea.st milk from leaking when you're not breastfeeding and when you are.
I've tried disposable and washable brea.st pads but they still get soaked and stain my dress.
This can be really embarrassing when one is outdoors.
Kindly help with suggestions (Asides expressing).
Thanks.

Hi mamas,
My baby is 5months 2weeks but his BCG injection site has a collection of pus.
It was initially hard like boil. I was given an ointment at his 3months checkup, since then it has soften but has pus inside. I've been waiting for it to burst on its own since. What do you suggest I do?

I guess it's 'alefo' in yoruba. Don't burst it yourself ooo. Just like the first momma said. Allow air breathe into your baby. Don't clothe him with heavy clothes. Use sudocrem then also apply agnesia powder...

It will heal soonest

@Deeedeee,

Oilatun (made in UK) baby bar soap should be just fine for your baby's sensitive skin.

Price range: 5k to 7k naira + inclusive of shipping cost.

You can buy from Jumia, konga etc

If I don't share my Miracle birth story that happened on 14th of August this year despite the pandemic, I will be the most ungrateful being on earth. I've not had time to type cos of the busy schedule of taking care of a toddler baby and trying to heal at the same time. Will be right back watch out for this space. If you know you are yet to fully receive God as your lord and personal savior, the time to do so is now cos he is the only one that can never leave or fail you. Thank you Jesus... smiley

my mum said so that her clitoris/labia won't become too big (won't look like a diick). And also to avoid itches down there when she grows up.
But i've been finding it difficult to digest

Menthol will be hot for her. I can imagine the pain , I used Vaseline for my baby girl.

I experienced same. Give it 4 weeks extra but if you're not comfortable, see your doctor.
