Neonspook: You can now see why many so called Billionaires in Nigeria are not genuine as they deal dirty, with only few exceptions. Most of them cannot list out what businesses they do! But why this man is sponsoring a Nigerien Elections across the Borders is another ball game entirely. How Patriotic are Nigerians to their Father land! Even between Kebbi,Niger,Oshogbo,Imo,Anambra,Lagos Ondo,Port Harcourt, there should be more Inter- City Railways activities than the extension of same services to Niger and other Countries. We are yet to be told the reasons for all these illegal activities going on across the borders. 1 Like |

Ever8090: It's not a newfound love. Northern Nigerians and Nigeriens have always been one and the same. The difference is, we let the map Britain created for us to deceive us-- the Southerners. That same map did not deceive them from knowing the trace of their roots. 2 Likes |

Kapilta: When you fight a pig, you yourself becomes dirty. The pig will even likely beat you in the sticky mud. To add a bit of wisdom, demand a separation of a people you were never part of. Before the Brits came in the 1800's, we've always had our own history. We keep living life as if the Yoruba race just came into existence this past century. Many of us don't know who we are nor our antecedence, that's why we are quite myopic. 3 Likes |

daysoo: The true definition of culture is the way of life of the people and I have been opportuned to school in core north and serve in core north and I am from middle belt and I've been to the south too so I tell you that the CORE NORTH is different from the rest of the country in all ramifications. Even as hausa language is their dominant language over there in core north and not even English language that has been adopted after British colonialism...why the other parts of the country; middle belt down to the entire south adopted English as their ligua franca while french was even the second language before you could even think of speakin' your own God given ethnic language. When it comes to justice the core north practice penal code while the rest of the country practice criminal code as their law. Why all this injustice yet they keep forcin' and enforcin' one Nigeria that has been a sham and a scam even from it's inception. 1 Like |

Kapilta:I wish Yoruba president or Igbo/SS president have the Charisma to do this ..... Hausa/Fulani are the best Opposition in Nigeria ... imagine Southern Nigeria led Presidency building Railway from Lagos to Togo at the same time from Calabar to Cameroon ... The North will report such President to United Nations, EU, UK, US, France, China, Russia ... Violence would have erupted In Kano killing Southern Nigerians .... Laslas, the project will die when the pros and cons are weighed ! 2 Likes |

BafanaBafana: I am and a proud one for that matter, since you couldn't see where I mentioned plateau state also. Benue and plateau had the highest number of generals or top ranking security agents compared to the rest of the country in short the middle belt has stood it's ground in the unifying process of this country and the only link between the south and the north yet they see them as minority till date. So in essence if we choose to leave they wouldn't be any smelly one Nigeria, for since we were born and now we're older we haven't enjoyed any previledge as to being a Nigerian rather we suffer Marginalization from every angle. |

Lamasta: Business is definitely involved (Max Air, oil etc) but may also be beyond that. Maradi was part of the ancient Hausa state of Katsina and many Katsina people have relatives across the border in Maradi. Beyond business, it may also be a push for the Hausa - Fulani to control Niger politics. It's a perfectly understandable thing for someone in his shoes to do. 1 Like |
