THE LYING WATCH

I can tell you what year it is,
I wont be wrong about the season either,
But looking at my watch to tell the time,
It lied

Stagnant like a lake,
It remains still as time goes by,
What a shame,
You failed at your only purpose,

But one thing is right about my dead watch
Even though its still through the day and night,
It can still be right twice in 24hours

But how can i trust a lying watch,
That has failed me 22times in a day,
Such is the fate of a liar,
Whose only purpose is to tell the truth

We're talking about global greatest entertainers not some talentless, dumba.s.s, local dudesad Fela ko Lefa nisad
Are you under the influence of weed when you typed this? Fela makes music for the whole african movement! And he is highly reckoned with in the world category. Even some hiphop producers in the US use some of his samples in their instrumentals.

Only the selected few that appreciate good music will agree with this... Jesse Jags is the best rapper in Africa judging with his last album Royal Niger Company that shines a light at the past history of this country.

Poems For Review / Freedom(my First Poetry) by savedbreak: 10:36am On Dec 09, 2013
---FREEDOM---
The colonial masters came
They make us slaves
They turned our kings into peasant like us
They turned our women into whores
They killed our children
They burn our homes

We cried out for freedom
For they were heartless, ruthless and vicious

Their torment make us one
We form a rebellion to end our pain
We fought for our freedom
We Chased away the wolves amongst us
We took back our belongings from the thiefs who came to rob us

Freedom at last!
But yet we cried
Years gone but peace didnt come
We thought we are freed men
But We are slaves to our evil human nature
Government looting our money
Parents selling their day old baby to enrich their pocket
Teachers raping the student before he could get her grades high
Students indulging in the art of evil cultism

What has the world turn into?
Can we ever find peace?
For We can be freemen to the naked eyes but we are still slaves to ourselves

Are you really considering doing an internet cersorship can put an end to this?..
Its a violation of internet freedom
2. Some of our so called artiste ar even benefiting from this by leaking their own songs online just to build hype around them.
3. All music lovers in 9ja don't want this to go down, how will u feel if you found out tommorow that there is no more free downloads so you have to pay for them. Am sure most of this wizkid fan won't be please about that.

Longlive Music Piracy in 9ja!

Music/Radio / Evolution Of Hip Hop Beefs? by savedbreak: 8:12pm On Dec 09, 2012
HI
There as been alot of beef scenerios in the music industry, some include:
2Pac Vs Notorious Big - arguably the greatest rap beef of all time,
Nas Vs Jay-z - whenever this 2 names popup what comes to my mind is "who is the legend?" so i think we can only call this superiority rivalry
Nelly Vs Krs One,
Dmx Vs Ja Rule,
50 Cents Vs The Game,
Lil Kim Vs Foxy Brown (the ladies are not left out)
Rugged man Vs Eedris Abdulkareem - Nigeria rap veteran also show their colour
M.I vs Kelly handsome,iceberg slim

the list goes on and on.
Even the upcoming rappers arn't left out - Vector vs Reminisce,

But the question is,is it just a commercial stunt to raise awareness and sell records? or its the real thing?.
Jay-z Vs Nas Came back after the "beef show" and did concerts together, Krs One Vs Nelly, Krs one doesn't know Nelly(but because of the beef, Nelly sold over 2 Million copies of his album).

Need i say more? The final verdict is, are BEEFS REAL?. or can we put it that 2Pac and Notorious BIG were victim of circumstances to have passed on while their beef stunt was on? For your information they did a track together!

Whenever i hear people say hip hop/nigerian music is dead,i feel very sorry for that person. It depends on the kind of music you hear, listen to the likes of Young Joe C,M I,Asa,dare art alade, etc arnt they nigerians? Is dere music dead? No! Hip Hop is alive, its the critics that are dead!

A rapper who wins an award seven times in a row is upcoming abi?

Kanye West has won the highest number of grammy awards for rap category. Yes and he is also upcoming.
Mode has won the highest number of headies awards for lyricism. Yes and thats why he's upcoming!
sir! Upcoming or not, the average nigerian don't or lemme say don't knw a dime about mode9's music. Compared to the likes of Naeto C,mi,sinzu, etc

If you don't know the meaning of upcoming why don't you look it up?
To refer to Modenine as upcoming is largely a sentimental infantile assertion.
he needs more attention around his music
