Madrid really deserved the win.
It would have been unfair if Bayern escaped with that goal that was scored against the run of play

Religion / Re: As A Christian Do You Still Do Quality Quiet Time? by sureteeboy(m): 1:38pm On Mar 03
femi4:
Quiet time is not synonymous to morning prayer. It can be in any other time of the day.

It's human doctrine that linked Quiet time to morning not Jesus

After [Jesus] had dismissed [the crowds], he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was [still] there alone.” (Matthew 14:23

QUIET TIME means alone with God, the time or the hour of meeting is irrelevant

Mark 1:35

And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

Science is fascinating.
It's no surprise that these people are always at the fore front of technological advancement. From the tiniest of particles (Standard model of particle physics) to supermassive substances like Quasars and black holes, they've got it all covered.

What exactly is Nigeria playing in this match?

What was the coach's game plan?

We're not playing anything at all.
Zero midfield
We're just soaking unnecessary pressure

That referee get as e be . Partial but not too partial. Why didn't he allow Mali take their corner especially after that very long celebration of the CIV goal?
Only 1 minute was added officially but he blew the whistle after 4mins 30s or thereabout.

The Malians only have themselves to blame. They played with an extra man for almost 80mins.

These Malians are sore losers.
Imagine playing with an extra man for almost 80mins of game time and still couldn't do anything with it.
Now they are trying to fight the referee like he is the one responsible for their misfortunes.
Those players deserve to be banned till eternity.

To Imagine that this same MTN young goal keeper had kept them in the game up until that mistake...hmmmm
The error leading to that goal was actually from the defender, and not the goal keeper.
In fact, OPTA statistics recorded that as an error leading to goal for that particular defender.
The funny thing is, the defender was just subbed on in the 80th min or thereabout in what was his debut in the tournament.
All in all, the better team won the match

This Namibia team has been terrible so far.
If they got that red card instead, Angola would probably have scored 4 goals now.

In three sentences, one for each, someone should summarise three reasons why the NFF needs to stick to this foreign coach with this horrendous and shocking football he's torturing our eyes with.
What distinguishing attributes or wow factor has he brought to the team that's beyond the capabilities of local coaches here in Nigeria?

Tunisia playing better in the 2nd half so far
They were actually woeful all game, but the second half is even worse than the first

They had 37% possession in the second half with 1 shot in total. 0 shots on target.
In comparison with the first half, they had 40% possession with 4 shots (2 on target)

Tunisia has fallen off

Even Mauritania with unknown names play very entertaining, well drilled and cohesive football than our so called "European based stars", is it a coaching issue or our players not just technically gifted as we make them out to be? if I were a scout at this AFCON, I would recommend players from the smaller nations- Equatorial Guinea, Cape Verde, Mauritania, Angola etc to top European clubs over the overrated players from the so called big national teams that are not Senegal and Morocco.

Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon and Tunisia have really fallen off, an immediate rebuild is needed from this national teams at all levels.
Exactly Boss. I really felt for this Mauritanian team, as they played an excellent and exciting football. It's quite pathetic to see that kind of lethargic football played by the Super Eagles. To start with, that coach needs to be booted out and the door to the national team should be opened to players who are willing to give their all.

Angola remains a way below team, Algeria should play an 'average-good' team with the tempo they are currently using in this game before the noise about them.

Nigeria played an equally woeful team yesterday, but all we got was an horrendous, slow-paced, kick and follow football.
