Hello. I'm going to suggest here, after reading the array of events in your health that you have posted, that:

1) It doesn't appear that there is any major health issue - so this is a good thing.

2) The three different blood pressure measurements are not alarmingly high. Again, it appears they were measured by an electronic-based sphigmomanometer which is not as reliable sometimes, as compared with the mercury sphigmomanometer.

3) By and large, I think your complaints suggests that the problem can best be solved by trusting a doctor's opinion, advice and management plan - not herbal remedies, nor lab. test interpretations Teaching hospoital or not, and so forth. Empty your cup of health assumptions when you come in front of a doctor and let him direct the consultation experience, while you in return ask, ask and ask questions for clarification, never assuming - BY SO DOING, YOU GET THE BEST RESULT OUT OF EVEN THE LEAST MOTIVATED DOCTOR.

Formerly it was itchy but after some application of creams mentioned earrlier it stopped but the problem i have now is that the place are dark/reddish in colour that i cannot expose it in public places. what i want now is something that i can apply to it so that it will blend with my colour because am fair in complexion. i want you to also observe something, am thinking if it was cream reaction though i have been using the cream for the past three years. the name of the cream is CAROLINE. Hi. To keep scarring to the bearest minimum, the wound should be given due attention - adequate choice of sterile wound dressing and antibiotic-cover if need be, to prevent infection. Infection would only worsen the inflamation and the ensuing scar.

Keloids also, which develop only in a few individuals (are you one such individual prone to develop keloids?) generally become larger, the larger the ensuing scar.

The good news here is that addiction to[b] Nicotine[/b] contained in cigarretes, comes mainly with a psychological dependence and not the harder-to-beat physiological dependence that go with narcotic substances e.g. Heroine or Cocaine. Therefore, you can draw on share will power alone to beat this addiction. There would be no terrible sickness of the withdrawal symptoms that always come with the abrupt stoppage of chronic narcotics usage, when it comes to abruptly stopping Nicotine usage (cigarrete smoking).

Nicotine comes in chewable preparations - not sure if found in Nigeria. This could serve as an alternative way to slowly desensitize self from the addiction and in this way, your Asthma isn't triggered off due to the lack of cigarrete fumes.

Your level of alcohol intake has little consequence on Asthma. Rather it may cause Liver damage going forward in the future. And like Nicotine, psychology plays the key role in preventing addicts to quit - and I'm aware that this doesn't necessarily makes it any easier to kick the habit but it at least comes with much less "sickness" when trying too.

Your reaching out for help is the first start. I'm not sure though, that we have in Nigeria - Im assuming you recide here - any well run substance abuse rehab programme. Alcoholics Anonymous, the US one, readily comes to mind.

But for what it's worth: You can do it.

Ampiclox is a good prescription for Boils. But, were they used in the right dosages and for the correct duration? The Ringworm - Taenia Cruris - should be treated with a Clotrimazole cream such as[i] Canesten[/i], applied twice daily for one week.

A number of things can give rise to inefficient motility and digestion within the Alimentary System. Wrong timing of meals, over-eating, quality of the diet, and so forth. Disease states like Ulcers and Absorption Disorders (e.g. Lactose Intolerance) are causes, too.

Let him go have a further consultation with his doctor then.

Please see your doctor. They would likely have you do a pelvic ultrasound scan. The possibility of a pregnancy (and its viability), would then be confirmed or refuted.

Particularly if the ulcers appear for no apparent reason, they are likely to be Apthous Ulcers. They have no specific, known cause. They heal-up by themselves inside two weeks. Avoiding minute trauma to the tongue, gums and mouth mucosa (inner lining) - such as when one is fund of chewing bone, etc - may help prevent. Another tip might be to observe better oral hygiene which includes brushing your teeth 2 to 3 times per day.

I'll have to assume that by heart pain, you refer to a central chest pain - and if it is burning in nature, it is likely to be Reflux Oesophagitis (commonly, Heart Burn). It is caused by the reflux of the acidic content of the stomach, in a backward flow to the gullet (oesophagus).

Avoiding over-eating or late night meals, could prevent this. Also, certain foods like Garri or Beans, are known to trigger this in some individuals.

I have being having difficulties in breathing for a long time now. I have different health guide and I have the impression of having Allergic Reactions or and Hay Fever. I noticed I am allergic to Dry Air, Dust and Polen grains. I have tried to guild against this. Anytime I get myself in any of this mess, I always have watery running nose, so watery that it taste less(cos I do taste it) together with sneezing, powerful one. After the running nose stage, I will have a blocked nose and after sometime I will start sneezing out some thick brownish mucour. Please what can I do?

The diagnosis, it seems, is Atopy. This is a general term that indicates allergic tendenccies ranging from the mild Hay Fever (Allergic Rhinitis) to the more sever Asthma.
Clearly, yours seems to be Hay Fever.

What to do is to avoid those things you have noticed that would trigger-off yet again, another allergic reaction - dust, pollen, etc, which you have rightly identified.

A prescription from your doctor, if and when you have a reaction, would equally be helpful in cancelling the allergic reaction.

Hi. I strongly suggest you go see your Gynaecologist. There are some contraceptive options that could give rise to this and might make it difficult to resume child-bearing if not rightly controlled by a specialist - the Gynae.

Yes, the dark green colour of your faeces is abnormal and is likely related to your rather prolonged ill-health. See a qualified doctor and not simply go for a "test".

The job I do requires that I sit down for most part of the day. This I think is responsible for the persistent body pain I have been experienceing for a couple of weeks. I have serious back pain that extends to my thighs and legs. The pain is most severe @ my lower back. I had to get an injection and some drugs to help relieve the pain. Since I still have my job and still sits down what I do to help eradicate the pain completely.

I have learnt from our Orthopaedic Surgeon that back pain is probably the commonest presenting symptom at their out-patient clinic. And, the most frequent cause is wrong sitting posture - which is probably the cause, in your case.

Here is a tip on the correct sitting posture: Sit with your lower back (the Lumbar vertebrae group) curved inwards, such that you are bolt-upright! - now, this will need getting used to as most of us (me included) tend to sit with our backs rounded in a slight stoop.

My Doc prescribed tetra, I took it but the stooling's resurfaces when I take sugar. Now I go everywhere with Tetra. What can I do to stop it, I'm scared the tetracyclin might have an adverse effect.

Here's my tip: 1) Stop the Tetracycline - it's not indicated. 2) Take sugar if you want. But, in addition, take enough Fibre such as vegetables and fruits. Your stools would be more efficiently emitted.
