By Abdulwaheed Usamah,

The former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, support group, Turaki Vanguard, has reset political record for Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, whom the team claimed was a beneficiary of the former VP’s struggles on Nigerian democracy.

However, the groups’ statement was a response to the Masari’s alleged description of the former vice president recent defection, from All Progressive Congress (APC) to People Democratic Party (PDP), as an exercise in futility,

In its claim, Katsina was the political ancestral home to Atiku and that it was unfortunate that the governor was playing to gallery of other APC’s members who have been criticizing the VP’s decision.

Through a statement released on Monday by the group’s National President, Oladimeji Fabiyi, it claimed that Masari has not only exhibited his worst fear against Atiku’s defection which have pervaded and occupied entire political atmosphere and space, but have also shown little and no experience on political history of katsina and Nigeria.
