Legendary rapper, Snoop Dogg posted on his social media this week a Nigeria music video titled "2 Fighting" by a barely known Nigerian artist, DJ Computer Love and and hailed him for the video, saying although he doesn't understand the lyrics, the music vibes.

In his words as he shared the Youtube video: "Dunno what they're saying but this music vibes..."

The rap mogul who is prepping towards his new album,I Wanna Thank Me", then shared the DJs instagram handle and wrote "sick Afrobeats", with a two raised hands emoji.

But the honour was shortlived as the posts dissapeared from all his social Medi handle within minutes as it looks like the American rapper has hidden it for unknown reasons.

Nollywood actor, Innocent Abu has called on Nigerians to embrace Nollywood movies more than ever, as it has Not only saved more lives but also the source of livelihood of many families.

Innocent Abu who was being interviewed by reporters on set of a new movie, enjoined Nigerian movie lovers not to relent in appreciating the production of the indigenous movie makers albeit their shortcomings.

"Truth is we have come a long way even though I won't brag that we are topnotch or in equality with Hollywood and Bollywood, but we continue to strive to be better despite the challenges in the country, which even our viewers face irrespective of their various field of endeavours", Abu said.

He continues; "Lately you must have been seeing a couple of movies which can be ranked or almost ranked alongside those of Hollywood, so we are trying. But I will appeal to everyone not to stop believing in us for the fact that we at least help people keep their boredom away; we keep Nigerians entertained which in turned must have helped many avoid falling into a state of depression due to the hardship in the country. We should not underestimate the impact of our movies at all."

The AHBEA awards held in Houston over the weekend saw many Nollywood stars travel to faraway USA to witness the event.

The highlight of the event was the performance by Nigerian, US based international singer, Jemiriye Adeniji who dished out pulsating rhythm to the audience.

During the performance, one of the hosts popular actor Lateef Adedimeji, who is also known by industry folks to be a no nonsense Islamic Cleric (Alfa), who was waiting on stage, couldn't control himself as he focused on Jemiriye's big backside.

At a point in during performance, Jemiriye dragged Alfa Lateef up for a dance with and their dance seemed more like a flirting section.

Sources at the event reported that this sparked a huge laughter from the audience and hours after the event, Lateef has shared some photos from the performance inorder to douse the controversy.

In one of the photos shared, he praised Jemiriye for her craft, Jemiriye on the other hand thanked him for the performance

Recently, the organiser held the Street Arm Wrestling show at the Karaole Estate Ifako Iaiye Lagos and it was supported by Eagle Aromatic Schnapps Nigerian spirit drink. The event which had a feature of arm wrestling contest by male and female and exciting performance from guest artistes.

According to the host, the show was also put together to promote another kind entertainment on the street and to promote peace and love on the Lagos streets.

It's been a while we heard from East based actress, Oge Aneke, since she welcomed a baby girl with her husband over a year ago.

New photos have however emerged of the actress's latest movie project titled "GOODNIGHT".

Some of the scenes in the beautiful location shots show the actress in an attempt to commit suicide with a rope around her neck.

According to Oge, "Good Night", which is from the stable Of Mrs Chinyere Ozoh and Mr Ifeanyi Onyeabo, is a true life story which every family will love to watch.

"The story exposes the hidden truth of most parents! It's a movie that is full of intrigues, drama, educating and most importantly entertaining. Over 3000 People Get Free Medical Service In Kuje, Abuja (photos)


No fewer than 3,000 people in Kuje area of Abuja benefitted from a medical mission embarked upon by popular NGO, When In Need Foundation (W.I.N) recently.

Several individuals were treated for various medical conditions such as malaria, peptic ulcers, hypertension, diabetes, respiratory, urinary tract infections, glaucoma, and cataract.

The mission which was held at Chibiri Primary School, Kuje and spearheaded by WIN’s team of doctors, nurses, optometrists and volunteers was a resounding success as several attendees who received free medical services thanked the organization for their hard work and looked forward to their return in the near future.

When In Need’s CEO, Dr. Chetachi Ecton stressed that WIN’s relentless commitment remains to saving and transforming lives, creating impact in the lives of women, children and some of the most vulnerable people in the society.

According to Dr. Chetachi; "One of the greatest gifts we can bestow on others is lending a helping hand, encouraging them, listening to their needs, energizing and reaching out to them through acts of selfless service. This inspired When In Need Foundation’s team to journey to Kuje, 40 km southwest of Abuja, the Capital of Nigeria on Saturday, to embark on a free medical mission in the community,"

"At the center of the organization’s focus is educating the less privileged children especially the girl child, combating malaria, high blood pressure, diabetes, eye impediments, common illnesses and diseases, women empowerment, community development and agriculture empowerment," she added.

Dr Ecton encouraged the general public to to be part of spreading love, lending a helping hand to those in need and treating people with warmth, respect and kindness.

In her words; "Together, we can change the world with a heart full of love, ears open to listen and hands willing to help."

Some youths are increasingly having no shame with the type of things they post on social media. A lady has called out Nigerian celebrity tatto artiste and beautician, Bizzyaski on his birthday. According to the lady who goes by the name Grace Ashaye on Instagram, the tattoo expert refused to draw butterfly tattoo on her bumbum for free,asking her to pay for the service.

This infuriated Grace who took to Bizzyaki's to post the below comment on one of his birthday post.

"Which birthday are you celebrating. Whats ur problem sef. Ordinary to draw ordinary butterfly tattoo on my butts you they charge. You want to build mansion in banana island abi? Rubbish. Weyrey somebody. Who do you think you are? Japaa", Grace fumed.

Bizzyaski in his response clapped back at the lady saying;

Music mogul, Kenny Ogunbe has looked into some emerging trends in the global music industry, particularly the Nigerian music industry and gave some shocking revelation.

The founder of Kennis Music in an interview with Nigerian Celebrity Armed Wrestling revealed that unlike in the past where talents is the main demands to appeal to the world, hype is now more important to make an artiste successful with the revolution of social media and the internet

The Kennis boss stated that the most talented are no longer the most celebrated nowadays, but the most syndicated.

"When we started, there was no internet, we used to hawk our music at the back of our booth all around Lagos but the internet is a phenomenon that we are all excited about and keying in now. If you are caught sleeping in this internet age, you are gone...more stars are being made through the internet now...and hype is all an artistes actually need now. Infact, talent is just 10percent, while hype is 90 of what is important to make an artiste now".

Ogungbe also speak widely about the trend of every artistes wanting to start their own labels.

"People used to mock us when started. When artistes started leaving our label to start their own, they mocked us even more; they blamed us. Now, those people are setting up labels everywhere and signing artistes; those artistes too are leaving them to set up their own record labels. When these artistes too sign up other artistes, the artistes also leave to set up labels. So, you can see that Kennis Music has been justified. At the end of the day, there is nobody that will not want to start his or her own thing. Tubaba has Digital Hypertek, and he is still my brother. We see often, i go to his club. So it is relationships that matter."


Baba Keke, as he is fondly called also blamed Nigerian journalists for much of the controversies often sorrrounding artistes and record label relationships.

He said "There is no where in the world where artistes leave a record label and it becomes news. But Nigerian journalists, and i say this with a deep sense of respect, because as you know i am a journalist myself; Nigerian journalists are always on the side of the artiste even if the artiste is at fault. They will write rubbish about the label without bothering to contact them....In Nigeria, the banks will not even support an artiste, but one individual will see you, believe in your talent and invest millions on you, then after that you will say you are leaving when you both still have a contract; will you be happy if you were that investor? But journalists will ignore that to write rubbish about the label, simply because they like the artistes' music...Nigerians generally don't celebrate record labels".

Kenny Ogungbe however said he will never take an artiste to court for anything.

According to him; "Record label owners are taking legal actions against the artistes when they breach contracts, which is fine on a business concern. But i can't bother myself taking a Nigerian artiste to court because i am a leader in this industry. I am a pioneer, i started all this and i can't be part of the people that built an industry and also break it. If you are doing something wrong as my artiste, i will call you to order and advice you as an elder, father and a brother. But if you still insists on towing the part, i will just leave you".

Speaking about hierarchy in artiste management, he clarified some common notions such as, who the boss is between an artiste, the manager or financier;

"The artiste is the boss of his manager because the artiste employed him. That's the standard all over the world. If the artiste is no longer satisfied with the service of the manager, he can fire him. However, i must say that the position of an artiste manager is an exalted one, a very glorious one. The financier on the other hand is who he is; he is the executive producer, he is the boss. The person who pays you is your boss. He finances your talent because you can't; he is your boss. Many of this artistes don't even know this and they need to know."

He advised young artistes;

"To have Respect is the only advise i will give to young artistes. Majority of the successful artistes you see shining now, let me not mention names, had nothing before they started. The money came from financier,it could be family members or parents, but once they attain a little success they starts carrying their shoulders up. That's a very wrong way of life. That person who helped you when you had nothing, respect that person."
