The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has petitioned the European Union on the progressing military operation in south east district of Nigeria.

The IPOB leader in the petitioned dated September 14, blamed the Nigerian military for terrorizing, torment, capture, kidnapping and murdering of regular citizen people in the southeast.

The letter written by the counsel to the IPOB leader, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, was routed to the secretary general of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, the European Union High Commission, the leaders of United States of America, Russia and Israel.

The National Association of Nigerian Students has appealed to the Academic Staff Union of Universities to accept the offers made by the Federal Government and to call off the ongoing strike.
