bjdon: Awolow, Zik and Amadu Bello were founding fathers of the Nation, as was Herbert Macully. Murtala was an assinated head of state and Balewa an assinated PM, they all deserve to be remembered by the Nation. While I don't doubt that Ojukwu is a hero to many Ibo's, that sentiment is not shared by many others acorss the Nation. As an Edo man I see Ojukwu as one who invaded my land when no a single Ibo person had been harmed in the mid-west. I dont' share the postive sentiments to him and certainly would not support his face on the currency. However I totally understand the reverence many in the east have for him and so I wonder why the eastern states are yet to find a way to honour him
