Believe it or not.

In US, it is NBDE (National Board Dental Examination)
In UK, it is ORE (Overseas Registration Exam)
In Canada, it is NDSE (National Dental Specialty Examination)

**In Canada, it is NDEB(National Dental Examining Board of Canada).

NDSE is for international Dental specialists looking to get their qualifications recognized so they can practice in Canada.

I'm a 28 years old man
I have a BSc in Plant Biology and Biotechnology from UNIVERSITY OF BENIN

I want to write the 2024 UTME and Apply for MBBS @UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN
These will be my 5th and last JAMB

I want to Japa from Nigeria to go study and focus on my Medical career in European country, but no money noww oo

I obtained my BSc in November 2021

I completed my NYSC on 02/02/2023

Any advice and recommendation
Why are you picking Ibadan/Ile-Ife? Going by age, we know you do not have the luxury to dilly-dally from one university to the other like a teenager does.

Yours shouldn't be a trial by error thing.

The target should be to apply and hit it once.

When was the last time you did intense Chemistry, Physics?

Regardless, I wish you the best.

Admission for HND Holders to 300 level without using jamb or D.E route.

Unfortunately, in ABU that is not possible. ABU does not even take first degree for DE into any course at the College of Medical Sciences.

You either come in through the UTME/SBRS into 100L or IJMB into 200L.

You may want to find out if your plan is possible at Kano.

Moreover this scenario you painted mostly happens in Engineering. I may be wrong though.

Hi good morning my fellow nairalanders, actually my friend got 184 in jamb to study nursing in uniport, I told her the possibility is low though, let her change to biochemistry since she’s good in chemistry, but the problem is how sure will she get admission with her jamb score to study biochemistry in uniport, she’s also reasoning doing change of course/institution to Enugu state university to study biochemistry or nursing, what do you guys think we both are confused here, and she don’t want to write jamb next year

Hi everyone, I have one of my friends that also wrote 2023 Jamb and he had 298 but he applied to kwara State Univeristy, Medsurg. I discouraged him to applied to a standard and accredited medical school but he won't listen to me. And he was arguing that he is sure of graduating within 6 years and that the school won't have accreditation issues like other schools.

Please what advice can you offer regarding his issue?

I don't bro.
But if u're writing English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, I'll strongly advise u to use ur jamb Past questions as it well known that most Nigerian universities lift their post utme questions from it word for word

You must be joking right now.
How can a fellow get Biochemistry admission with 184 undecided in Uniport which me and u know is very competitive

The fact that it's a federal university which will definitely reserve space for different applicants all over or from almost all the states in the nation should shrink u form thinking as this.

Also remember jambites with well above 270+, 280+, and 260+ who couldn't get into thier first choice on merit into the so called big courses like Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and the likes will still have to change their course to the less competitive courses (Biochemistry inclusive) and drag the available slots with them making it extremely competitive.

You may be admitted though but based on an extremely high performance in the post utme say 85/100, and also the influence of catchment and Elds.

Your best bet will be to choose a state university preferably your own state and which also aligns with your pocket size

All the best

After 4 years of searching, Grace found me.
I’ve been admitted,DELSU MBBS.

Words can’t express how I feel.

Donpre and pes13, you guys inspired me a lot.
You may not know it but you both were my biggest motivation. Thank you.

Kai, It's amazing how time flies. Visiting this thread again and seeing a lot of admission discourse got me feeling nostalgic. Spurred me to visit old posts I made when I was still searching.

Already in my Penultimate year and God is still faithful.

To everyone trying to get in, keep fighting! Don't ever give up!!!

May the odds be in your favour.

Before I answer.

Where is she from?
What's her O level like?
Is she certain of doing better in PUTME or it's gonna be another trial?

Answer all these and revert back to me.

KWASU is one of the fastest, if not the fastest school I can say in Nigeria. It's academic calendar is fast and can compete with it's private counterpart. That might be the basis for his argument.

Meanwhile,. I never knew they have started MEDICINE. MED. LAB. is what I have known over there.

Meanwhile, if the school is yet to gain full accreditation, it might bear risk, though not a wrong decision as long as he can endure.

If you ask me, I'll say; let him. The most important thing here is to gain admission. Then every other thing gets sorted later. I am sure you don't want him gambling with that his score. What if he regrets later? Please can you allow him bear the consequences of his actions?

My Opinion though.

Please a few questions on KWASU.

(1) What is the chance of a non indigine from Edo state getting admission in KWASU?.

(2) I have three people that got 218(Law), 182 (Accounting) and 172(Medicine and Surgery). Federal university is out of it. What will be your advise if they want to switch to KWASU?. They are all from Edo state.

(3) What is their fees like?.

although she said she’s willing to sort it out, she doesn’t mind as long as she get the admission, but the funny thing is she doesn’t know anyone there, I’m scared they might dupe her

Amen I really pray so for real, actually she just want to enter school so she could further her movie dreams, her parents don’t really accept her dreams so she just need to be away from home and school so the can have the freedom she wants, though her parents wants her to change institution to futo here in Owerri imo state where she’s from, but she doesn’t want her parents to control her anymore though
