With all pep's reinforcement in the summer, he ignored the full back positions, when he has 4 useless fullbacks, why start Fernando ahead of Gundogan...Anyways madrid draws, so my mood is better. I hope we get atleast a draw

Isn't it time to start martial, rashford, mhiki in that attack? Or martial, Ibra (he can unbalance a team sometimes) n rashford

I have not even noticed Rakitic has a new role aside the one that i have known him player for Barca for the years he has been here. He is showing some bad performance and Arda is givng performance that is next to best, soon you will here calls for him to be dropped.

I dont want this arguement to go back and forth, all i want you to know is that we have been poor solely because of the midfield. And major culprit there is Rakitic.

Even our last match, watch that both Busi and Ineasta tried to run in to that CM role to try and make things happen.
Arda cannot do a better job than Raki as far as that cm role is concerned! Unless you are talking Am or Lwf. He (Arda) doesn't possess the control/genius of xavi, neither is he combative like Raki...you are either cold or hot

Hey guys! Happy new month to us all.

What should we expect against Celta come tomorrow? Despite having lost Nolito to City, they are still a force to reckon with and their win in the Europa league further buttresses their readiness to to prove a point this season.
I hope we avoid what happened last season and come back home with a comfortable win.

Me thinks Neymar should assume Messi's role while Arda plays Ney's. Paco should come in latter to show us what he's made off.
personally I don't expect a great performance, it's one of the grounds we've struggled at for the past 2 seasons. We might still win tho...but it ll be a scrappy display! We ll be needing all the luck that can possibly come our way

more like a spanish fellaini.
Fellaini is only taller, more muscular, n spots an Afro that covers his "BRAIN"( which is a department Busquets excels in)

If Tuchel can add one or two legs in January, he might win this league! Bayern ll eventually become dangerous during the later stages of the Champions league, but I doubt they can be consistent enough to be league champions this season

1. So far so good, i am enjoying team since the team can give wins even while playing unintresting football.

2. Dortmund has J. weigj, Arsenal has S. Carzola, City has D. Silva- this guys are enjoying football now for due to some particular reasons. I cannot justify the bad play being exhibited by Rakitic lately and solely blame Lucho, Rakitic has been poor and no one has pointed it out. If on his days, i dont need to tell you what we can achieve with that.

3. Exactly. Even machines dont have 100% efficiency, i do not see why barca should not have some bad time out.
I agree with most of the points except that Rakitic has been poor. For the past 2 seasons, his role in the team has been slightly different from this season...he has spent his last 2 years at Barca staying much on the right cos of Alves getting weaker defensively, now Alves is gone, Raki is playing more in the middle n he's not particularly fast, but he can help control the game also...weigl isn't better, Hell! Even Santiago isn't better...silva I don't even consider a cm...so I don't think the P lies with Raki

Easy bro, i guess the saying that you do not value what you have except you lose them should not be entirely ruled out here. Even if it is with Messi and co's briliance that give us the wins, i think for now our problem shouldnt be with Enrique. The benefit of doubt should be laid to rest till his post Barca time.

His time at Roma was dissappointing but Celta was impressive. Maybe when he is out of barca lets see the team he will manage again to make you believe in him since his work here isnt approved by some people here.
To be fair, you are right! Hope that time (post barca ) comes fast tho. But let me ask, Have you really been enjoying his team on a consistent basis? I know some people ll say xavi is no longer here, he brought directness to our play, but dortmund, arsenal, city, do not have a xavi either, n these teams have been more entertaining to watch this season, which shouldn't be so Imo. Maybe I prime barca so high, but no one can blame me sha, Barca have been numero uno in entertainment for some years now (not like I don't value the directness he brought to our play) but atleast hos build up play/team selection should improve

My point is that Lucho had received more than enough criticism even on this thread!

If you still belong to those group that likes to make themselves believe that Barca coaches like Guardiola and Enrique are utterly average and only relies on the excellence of Barca players to look good, then you are indeed misguided. Enrique's legacy at Barca is there for all to see. That Celta Vigo are today a force to be reckoned with in Spain, are all thanks to him.
Try leaving Pep's name out when discussing Enrique...Even as delusional as the media can sometimes be, They know there's a gulf in class

I guess you didn't get the point. The point ain't about you not knowing what happened then. It's about what conspired on here. And with that in mind, you weren't a member of this thread at the time, and as such you didn't know how much criticisms and/or bitterness that ensued on here towards Lucho, hence his statement.
I had followed this thread for 3yrs before joining, so I can remember all those things vividly cos I read all those comments

Lol..... this really shows you are new on this thread bro. if only you can take your time and dig down to some pages back, you'll be more than surprised how guys have criticised Lucho and even prayed for his replacement. If I can remember well, only one or two guys supported him them when things looked so gloomy for the team. The height of it was when we lost to Real Sociadad in January with Messi and Neymar on the bench, which ultimately became the turning point for the team and we won the much coveted treble at the end( the end justifying the means grin)
If you've got some minutes to spare, just try and dig up.
Being new here doesn't mean I don't remember Lucho's fall out with leo which reshaped his career for ever...He wanted power tussle at anoeta, n he was shown who the boss is (Leo)

This same Carlo also used to struggle vs Atleti while at Madrid though he found a way to win in the Champions League

Let's also give credit to Simeone. 18 games at home 14 wins, 3 draws, 1 loss 47 goals for 4 against
Its a maaad record

We have not been exceptional this year especially away. Douglas Costa would have started if he was fit, not much Carlo could have done. The problem is at the right. Müller is not a RW. I don't know why Carlo keeps playing him there. Either pair him with Lewa or just behind or don't play him at all
I know about Don carlo's struggles against ATM, n also simeone's exploits, but bayern were just too poor yesterday IMHO! Robben, Costa, coman should be the starting wingers when fit, not one old man that doesn't want to accept what age has brought his way (Ribery)

Harsh words for Ribery. To be fair, he has been Bayern's best player so far this season. Kimmich would be the ideal successor for Alonso.
Bayern's best player against which opponents? Weak opponents! You are right about kimich tho....as for Ribery, do not expect anything else from him against top oppositions. He's a walking Rooney!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by 10d0ve(m): 9:49am On Sep 29, 2016
Bayern were even poorer last night compared to last season at the Calderón. Ribery is washed up! He has no business in the starting line up of any top team! Pep n Ancelloti are my personal top 2 best coaches in the world, cos I believe carlo is badly underrated, but if he wants to succeed, Ribery out! Get Lahm to concentrate more on games, n replace Alonso from the starting xi

When it comes to criticising Lucho it turns to the ends justifies the means... but same barca fans will criticise teams for parking the bus n winning ugly ala chelsea 2012, n calling it a one off! But when it comes to individual scrutiny of the players every body ll highlight their highs n low...Is Lucho invincible?

Now according to you, most shitty players were either rubbish or over aged and would need replacements.... Please, how many of the new players are starters asides stones? who we all know you don't rate....

I ask again, can you tell me which squad have better players than shitty even on paper before and after the season have started?
