When Bykebyke, dmcdad et al were talking about Umtiti starting in this particular match that guy thought it's was a case of getting a new player n forgetting the loyal servant (s) I didn't want to stress the ish then, but truth is macherano has been on a steady decline since early last season... He has been great for us, but age is finally catching up with him. Same thing I was telling people (not on here tho) last season that Dani Alves tho better than vidal then.. It was time for him to go cos age stepped into his matter too...Thank God Roberto is coming good.

When exactly is the best time to rest players, give play time to as many players as possible? In a match against Madrid, Bayern, City or? Do you remember Busi is the only substantial DM we have? When exactly should he be rested? Or because of the loss to Alaves now, only the starting 11 should always be fielded? I am honestly trying to understand.

Look , trolling aside , when we talk about a league being competitive ,nwe are talking about how many teams in that league stand a fighting chance of lifting it. Going through the records and how many teams have won the English premier in the last 5 years , we know the EPL is clearly the most competitive in Europe, probably the world.

In terms of strength in Europe, well we can say the UCL is the yardstick for measuring that. While Spanish teams have lifted about 6 of the last 12 (half) UCL trophies, only two teams in spain did all that winning. EPL comes in second place wirh 3 trophies won by 3 different teams in that time and 4 different teams appearing in the finals in the same period, as against Spain's 3. Strength of League would go either to Spain or England in that regard.

As for media hype you know that won't fly. If to say na American media you say sef, that would have been a better argument.

when you have 4/5 teams at same level (little diff in class ) it's easy for that league to look competitive, juve n Atm in particular will dominate that league if they were playing there...madrid, bayern, barca r just a class apart...you guys can as well let hull win the league this season so it ll look more competitive
