Okra was taken to the Caribbean from our side during slave trade but I don't know why they don't prepare swallow like us.

I was watching chopped on food network one day and saw them breading and deep frying okra. I'm definitely going to try it.

My dad's friend said in India it's called lady's finger , when he got there he wanted to eat rice and they asked if he will want it in his meal, out of curiosity he said yes only to find out it was okra .
