immanuello: what do you have to say on this stocks:redstar express, vitafoam, upl, may and baker base on valuations.Meanwhile, born 2 to be rich, mercylicious this is directed to you.when do you just think this bull will enter intermediate bear or corrections or do you just think this will continue through out the next 2 weeks without people taking profit and if it should continued like that then there will soon be a BUBBLE that will soon BURST let us remember what happened in 2007 before the burst of 2008/2009.Although based on my thought i dont see what is fueling the bulls on FIDSON in particular that has a fair result for 2013 q3 with Eps of 25kobo and fyeps maybe30-32kobo as against the projection of 54kobo which i had cut down to btw 30-32kobo becos i just see 54kobo Eps as a means of selling unrealistic take through news. And with this eps this coy can pay atleast 15kobo if they will be paying atleast 50% of year end eps but base on d coy behavior of paying almost all their earnings as dividend as they last year when they paid 12kobo frm 14kobo made. That means they could pay surprisely 18kobo to 20kobo as dividen for year end 2013.So is that what is making the coy bullish even though i know alots of people buying this coy might not know this. But for this stock trading at #2.90 show mr market could just be too drunk sometimes expecially when lots of money is readily available to push a stock price unjustifiable. This same act is also playing on Ubcap, afriprudential bulls as its evidenced that they cant pay less than 10kobo-15kobo as dividend by year end.And looking at what smart Ubcap and Afriprudential mgt did by raising right issue so that they can pay dividend comfortly without them dipping their hands into their reserve or profit and yet people didnt note this smart play on them, hmmm.using "awo abu se abu lalejo".

Sorry my response is coming late...Although i believe mercylicious has answered most of your questions, i would like to add that the bull this season will be longer than usual..why? look at this period before christmas, most people expected the market to drop some weights due to profit takers but it didnt..this bullish trend on the Nigerian stock market is growing stronger and stronger as we move to the end of the year..The beginning of 2014 will be good for investors but i advise constant monitoring and caution..

Kindly read this for more info: http://www.proshareng.com/news/21851

To the bolded on Fidson, yes, but IMO the bull will still push this one up to N3 and beyond as the stock looks strong at the moment...As for redstar and Vitafoam, honestly i have never studied or looked at those stocks but may and baker will move up most likely due to sentiments this period..Sorry i cant type much..

Enjoy.

Dumexoga:
My brother, I Humble for here no be small. Just made 2million today for oando, my God is good, can you remember I also recommended UBA and Nahco earlier on? Chech the price and see. I have been sounding the trumpet about japaul too. Check the price for today, it closed at 52k. I bought 38million units at 50k and I have been begging people to look in that direction and they were busy analyzing. Life is all about risk. When you get positive informations and take risk, you will always smile. Jesus is lord

My chairman, I no even buy oando to sell am now ooo, even if it falls tomorrow, am still in the bus, because we are heading to 100 naira. Believe it or not. If the COP deal is concluded, nobody here on nairaland will see it back again ooo. Wait and see. I hail u bro

I think it is the bullish effect in Oil and Gas Sector that is pushing Eterna.

Well Oga Immanuello, first of all na small boy i be o..i no be elder at all ( currently an U17 person)...If you wan see elder na bra emmanuel ewumi side you go look.. cheesy

As for buying Oando, IMO if i have some extra cash now i will still buy some more units as i believe that the deal is already sealed, however, this is risky so it isnt adviseable to buy so much units while we await the conclusion of the aquisition of COP....I bought Oando at N11 and kept on accumulating..I would have continued but you have to keep some money this festive season..i am thinking of getting more units before weekend sha.

Esorison, GUIDELINES u said? Perhaps, it's only a close friend or relative that can u sit u down & put u through. I had to ask my dad about it about 1decade ago.
Nonetheless, my 2kobo advice 4 u is dis: since you are truly verdant, don't rush into stocks yet. Spend time learning about terminologies & market principles. You may read dis thread from d beginning. (I have done that). You may also check investopedia.com
Dont b carried away with the money NOW. Build a solid foundation, read free pdf books about stock trading & options...and u wont fall into d swine of pigs that get slaughtered. cool
