These guys are jokers... They probably used the banks money to do this in EVERY branch. They have been doi h endless rebranding and adverts over the years.... And then when it comes to paying dividend, it'll be stories. The status of the shareholder is not paramount in this bank.

Methinks that the Dozies have other ways of siphoning their money from this bank quite unlike the Fidelity that seem to live on dividends.

Even in US where regulations are tight, the executives tves still manage to skin off the shareholder. Now imagine what the executives would be doing to us in the presence of weak regulations.

We all saw the great strides (capital appreciation) made by GTB after IPO. Can the same be said about other banks? For instance, I remember Fidelity's IPO was N8. 00. Those that bought are still sitting on massive losses because of weak corporate governance that has depressed profits.

ALL THESE BANKS ARE FRAUDS!! I JUST WANT TO GET MY CAPITAL APPRECIATION AND MOVE ON.

“We are cautiously optimistic for FMN going into 2017 as its huge debt position (N148 billion
as at FY’16) remains a hindrance to future profitability growth". Cardinal stone.
Though Q1'17 result is stellar.

Market crashes are the best times to buy,” he said. “When Walmart has a sale, everybody would run in to buy. But when the stock market has a sale, or the real estate market has a sale, everybody runs away. That’s why there’s a difference between rich and poor today because they don’t know a good thing when they see one.”- Robert Kiyosaki

As a value investors, I look forward to market crashes as long as the fundamentals of the companies are good.

Don't invest for capital appreciation, invest because of cashflow. When you invest because of cashflow, sustainable capital appreciation and multiplication shall come bountifully in due course.

Yes boss .

Strong cash flows directs my attention to consumer sec giants esp Nig Brew. (Recovered from sub N100 crash , gaining over 50% wh ties to your thots)

In d ''FUTURE '' , one would expect power sector to be strong cash flow generators if they can scale the current debt - complications et al in the medium term

Telcos if listed shud be a strong candidate. They are d cash flow monsters ff by Dang Cement i think.

You're right.

Debts are not bad provided the company generating enough income that can liquidate the debt. And most importantly competent management with impeccable character and shareholders centric.

A friend who is a banker(with Accessbk) informed me that Bankers comfirmation of signature is now N500 only for all banks. He said CBN directed all banks to henceforth do it at that amount. This is a good development. Things are been made easy now.
