Greetings to the house. Please I need advice from veterans on a step I plan on taking.
I have some units of Aiico insurance; I am aware of their rights issue presently. I am planning to sell off all my units while trying to get it back through the rights issue channel.
This will give me at least 10% profit, which I deem is fair enough. How tenable is this move?

@Ogg @DeRuggedProf @Mcy56
@RabbiDOracle @ emmanuelewumi
I don't really know how the right issue works. It's 5 ratio 13 right.
I think picking on the floor will be advantageous as prices are getting lower.

Thanks so much ma. I will monitor it on the floor to see if it can go lower than the right issues price, then I can buy more units.

Most Sectors Are Performing Below The Market Index, But Not Insurance Sector

Insurance sector on NSE ASI index has been performing very well in 2020. However, in this recent decline in the market, Food and Beverages/Tobacco sector - WHITE LINE (along with Consumer Goods Sector - LIGHT GREEN) has stated to turn upside while the general market is falling.

I think these 2 sectors may likely perform better than the market going forward. The insurance sector (PUrPLE LINE) is still doing well, as it's already above the market (BLUE LINE). Get some "perceived" good fundamental stocks in these sectors to start aligning with as the market declines.

Sector analysis sometimes gives better market breadth which we can use to gauge the market.

Best of luck.
