[quote author=RichEstate post=99209910]I guess they are not opening new accounts again IMO. A friend has been trying to open one for the past two weeks with no response from them.

If DAT be d case why can't them be plain about it in stead of keeping one waiting unnecessarily?!

UCAP:. Some profit taking ongoing......
The 1M gang on offer table @ day's high, are they on mission?
Whatever it is, UCAP remains a good fundamental stock to have and always watch out for.......if it dips, it can only only present bargain entry .........
UCAP is not expected to trade below N7 all things being equal......

Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful. Always know when to book your profit, and wait again at lower junction to enter back.
As in Ucap, their dividend return earning are attractive, but have in mind that their price will likely visit #3 or below after the dividend mark down. Their price will climb and remain high someday when their EPs will move higher like #2/#3 EPs.

This is another company that might pull surprise like Vita foam. Since appointed the broker of FGN, this government favour them.
"CSL Stockbrokers Limited, a subsidiary of FCMB Group Plc, has emerged as the new stockbroker to the Federal Government of Nigeria. The appointment of the firm, as announced by the Debt Management Office (DMO) on February 18, 2020, followed an open competitive bidding process in which other Stockbrokers participated" https://www.fcmb.com/CSL-Stockbrokers-Appointed-as-New-Stockbroker-to-the-Federal-Government

Hmm. With the way UCAP is going and with current happenings in the company this stock will be selling at double digits in not too distant year(s). From 30K to 50k to 70k and with the level of investments the company is into it could sustain this trend. Let's keep watching!

THIS IS MY VIEW PLEASE.AND NOT A BUY RECOMMENDATION. DO YOUR RESEARCH PLEASE.

A kind of inter-changing....... grin

Anyway, AFRIPRUD tried in my opinion.
We shouldn't forget so easily the challenges faced by these coys in 2020, for two quarters...........reduced dividend shouldn't come as a surprise at all.

Remember some investors were not even expecting much in their quarterly results but the coys surprised us all.
Part of the effect is expected to be felt in 2020 FYE........ recession was there, inflation was/is there.........inconsistent govt policies are there, etc., ........So to me, Afriprud tried!

As for UCAP, the coy was able to surpass expectations partly due to the Oil & Gas ventured into by TNOG Group.
