Una try.
Think you have the option to sell on the floor before suspension is placed on it, because Titan already started payment of exit price to investors........
OR risk going with Titan.......and the risk includes forfeiting your shares eventually.

..
Judgement already made in favour of Otedola and some news carried it that Otedola is set to take over ARDOVA..... but ARDOVA claimed issue is btw ZENON Oil and Ignite or so.
Some people may have inside info or be pro-active by buying aforehand, in case the odd goes against ARDOVA.
** Don't know if ARDOVA appeal the judgement or not
**No concrete pointer yet.......to the public at least.
** Thing is: Otedola is planning to come back to the downstream industry
** You can just keep tab of happenings here....

** Caveat: Not any form of advice. Just market update**

Year to Date, the Nigerian Stock Market has gained 12.73% ASI

If your portfolio is presently gaining 12.73%, you are at par with the market.

If your portfolio is presently gaining above 12.73%, you are performing above the market rate.

If your portfolio is presently gaining less than 12.73%, you are performing below the market rate.

But if your portfolio is presently at less than 0 percent, like -1%, -2%, -3%, -4%, -5%, -6%, -7%, etc.

Hmmmm, there is God ooo

From ur moniker i see u do R, SQL and python, with such skills u could develop ur own signals in ur spare time and come here for validation and quality control grin , there is a lot of data out there to play with.

U can check GTCO, it has been falling in a way that is not in tune with its performance. As mentioned here it could be dat some foreign investors are pulling out of it.

I thought it was a good buy 2 weeks ago, it still is. Its current closing price is below 15 percentile of its last 10years. Meaning that it is currently trading below 85 percent of all its closing price in d last 10 years.

The stock has maintained a growing revenue, pat, equity and eps in d last 10 years. Current dividend payout is above 15% (i think its currently topping d market). Pays dividends without fail annually.

Even if d seller(s) is not done pulling out, what ever price drop will be recovered as d market price in its many positives.

I advise u crunch the numbers and see for ur self.

Since d first post, Nov 14 or so, GTCO has returned roughly 26%. I am literally kicking my self for not buying more, should have put d whole emergency fund in it then. embarassed

What if you know that GTCo is still capable of returning from this level, would you be motivated to put more money Lol

I think GTCO still has some more, but comparatively their might be better opportunities at dis point, thouh d 25% move gives d choice to ride along with a trailing stop.

With a 10% trail stop worst case is he ends up with 12.5% gain overall which is not very bad. If price moves upwards another 10%, then he is sure of 23.8% and so on...

Just seeing the form now on https://cardinalstoneregistrars.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/MTO%20Acceptance%20Form.pdf

Please what is the implication of filling the form now and submitting same to CardinalStone Registrars?
and what is the implication of not filling the form?

Also those who still have Union Bank shares, is it still showing on your portfolio portal?

I did read the MTO offer document and the application form.
I also visited CardinalStone registrar Office at Sabo last two weeks.
Avoid assuming people are incompetent in financial matters and investments.

Okay, what in your fair view, would happen to the UBN shares of those minor shareholders who do not fill the MTO form to sell to Titan Trust?

Will Union Bank change its name to Titan Trust Bank?

Will NGX suspend the sales of Union Bank shares on the floor of trade?

Will NGX delist Union Bank from the Nigerian Stock Market?
