Is it at the presidential platform they are merging together or even at the local and state levels?If the merger agreement is all encompassing that is to say that the PDP may never win any state talkless of presidential platform.What will happen?Excuse me for just one second...... am seeing something that looks like a vision.Okay am back.The military will be used to rig the election and the stage will be set for a breakaway.Its a war and anarchy looms.PDP have murdered sleep and now shall they sleep no more.This merger is divine.

Am not saying the merged party will not perform but one thing we should know now is that godfathers will now be x4 for the new party and all godfathers must get sumtin from time to time.Enough tax payers and oil money been shared.

What Nigeria needed is not a techocrat like Pat Utomi but a seasoned fighter against corruption which is the bane of our nation. Somebody who is impervious to feelings of ethno-religio and politico leanings. Two candidates stand out. Buhari or Nuru. It's a shame that a merger like this should include Tinubu and some others who're virtually elitist, corrupt, egoistic and self opiniomated in governance.

I think IF they merge, the new party should be called people's Democratic Party of Nigeria. PDPN. Or Nigerian people's Democratic Party NPDP

Anyhow anyhow PDP will be inside it

Even if this party doesn't work the idea should never be abandoned but worked upon for improvement. Democracy is a continous process and not a once-in-four-years affair

This is only just the beginning of a process of wresting power from the ruling who seem to have failed woefully. There is more work to be done stucturally if they are to make a meaningful impact. One strategy the ruling party will employ is to destabilize their internal working to make them rather innefective. They should be warned of this!
