If it's about your position, it depends on your GPS. If Tecno made the GPS hardware well or not.
You can try calibrating it.

The reason why people hate Tecno is because they lack OTA updates.
Why will anybody buy this phone with this great specs and high performance if it is going to die in version 6?

Root your phone. Download root explorer. Locate the stupid app and delete it. (Very easy)

Clear playstore app cache and data, clear Google play services cache and data, clear Google account manager services and data, clear Google services framework account and data, go to account and remove your Google account now sign in and check if you can download. if this doesn't work try updating your phone. The last update on April 21st corrected the issue.
I've not downloaded on playstore recently sha.

Well, though Gionee is very good and suprise their users with what the users would not think will be on their devices and always do not over hype their products the way tecno and infinix do, they(Gionee) cannot gain grounds in Nigeria because they are not serious with business in Nigeria.
The M6 has been around for over two months and it has not been released in Nigeria, they start to sell in Nigeria when the phone is no longer important (after 9 months of release in other countries.)
Even if they release it, they will release it with 2GB of RAM when it is 3 or 4GB of RAM in other countries, E.g is the M5, F13pro etc, which are 3GB of RAM, but they have 2GB in Nigeria.
They hardly release a version update for their phones in Nigeria. They release a version update 4 months after they release it in other countries.
In conclusion, they are not serious in Nigeria and Tecno will continue to win over them in customers.
I use an M3 mini. There has been a battery bug from 15%, it runs down very fast from 15% and they have done nothing about it because those using it are from Nigeria, whereas it has been corrected in those in Russia.

You can no longer edit your application record after you submit. I'll advice you to wait till Saturday if they will release it, then input it on Sunday, the closing date.
