You don't look at RAM alone before buying a phone, compare the processors too.

Also Check brand history of durability. You don't want to buy a phone that will last only for a year unless you intend giving it out.

I carefully used an Umi phone, it automatically developed screen issues after a year.

In benchmark G85 is better. In real life usage SD 665 is better.
Although G85 performs a little bit better for games.
The SD is more optimized for games , delivers consistent frame rate and won't easily heat up. Also a better GCam compatibility. With better battery life.

I'm using a 662, a newer version of 665. I can tell it's pretty good. If you have more money, go for the SD 7xx series

Depends on the type of SD and MTK. Generally SD is better if you want to be flashing ROMs and using GCam

Poco M3. It does everything well I throw at it.

People keep asking me what kind of phone it is, that the display is cool and nice body, if it's Samsung. When they see the name they get surprised or rather disappointed, I don't really know.

Ignorance is bad sha grin

Then the viewing angle is quite poor though, when I see iPhone users buying screen guard that purposely reduces their phone's viewing angle, I get surprised shocked

What has my phone done to them now? Why are they not giving my phone an Os upgrade while they are giving others that are using my kind of phone update?

You can download the Android 11 ROM and flash unto your phone using SP flash too. Check umidigi community for more details.

I no sure say you lock your bootloader. Install recovery and flash the full ROM for each update.

I like custom ROMs sha, but MIUi is still faster than them. Maybe I go start to dey flash ROMs 2 years from now when Xiaomi go stop updates, that's if I go dey get time.

Probably it has gone bad. Umidigi cables go bad after 4 months. Their charging ports hardly go bad.

Try buying an original cable.

My umidigi s5 pro stopped connecting to my dongle i.e type c to 3.5mm earpiece port.. like that wasn't enough, it has stopped fast charging (10% in one hour). And my battery drains a bit quicker too.

That said, I met a technician today and he said I should get a charging flex.... Please guys what are your suggestions?

Have you tried using an original USB cable?

Look at the pictures provided: explosion happened around the location of the processor and battery, and more affected site was on the left side.

Charging port area is completely free of explosion, which means that the charger supplied the phone with the required, normal current.

The ions volatility in the battery caused this explosion, which must have been as a result of a super heated up processor and battery.

Xiaomi either didn't have a cooling system set up, or they went with a cheap option.

What part of a phone gets very hot while you're charging and playing a game? The battery.
The charging port can't explode or even get hot, its job is to deliver current to the battery.

Charging that phone at 33watts and playing a game simultaneously is the reason the battery got so hot and melted as you can see from the picture.

Also, he wouldn't admit he was charging, so that nobody will blame him.

It is popular with those who used A5 pro more than a year. I used it and it's in my drawer at home right now. I'll change the screen in future when I have spare money.

The products after A5 pro are good. I got a friend with A7 pro another with A7s no issues till now.

It doesnt have any software issue. The phone is fast, Whatsapp doesn't lag.

Although it has a hardware problem, sometimes the screen stops responding to touch untill u lock and unlock, can be frustrating when you're typing a message or playing a game and shit suddenly stops.

Last two months (February) my F2 screen got broken, so I placed order for a screen replacement on Aliexpress. The package was shipped thru Aliexpress Standard Shipping (Singapore post) and it left country of origin since 20th February. Till date, it's still on transit (now is 82days and counting)

Has it been that my package has gone missing or it's Covid affected shipping?
