Yes, with super glue. Lol.

Someone else gave his to a repairer. The repairer, removed the front glass entirely that is pulling up a little and placed it back using his phone gum.

It no longer freezes for him. Me, na super glue I use.
I think you should use his method.

Hey check this.

Settings, Apps and notification, default Apps.
Check if Phone app is ticked.

The problem is, you used your Trucaller App to meddle with the original settings.

It has been long overdue. The menace of sim reg has gotten out of hand.

Network providers recycle sim cards after few months.
They force people to register sims by enticing customers with bonuses on new SIMs leaving out old customers and giving marketers difficult targets, like they must register 5000 SIMs within 1 month, who TF does that?

There should be strict rules before you can register a SIM.
How can one person have 10 MTN SIMs at home? How can agencies track fraudsters?

Download the ROM in .rar format from the ROM section in Umidigi Community.

Extract the contents of the file with WinRAR.
Download the latest version of SP Flash tool.

Open the SP flash tool application from its folder.

Locate the scatter file (MT6763) in the ROM folder you extracted.
Select DOWNLOAD ONLY (automatically selected) from drop-down, it's already selected.

Click download.

Turn off your phone, connect your phone to your PC.
It will automatically start flashing.
Wait for it to be completed.

Disconnect your phone.
Turn on your phone, and your phone will be back alive with stock ROM.

You mean phone lagging or screen freezing?

If it's screen freezing, I pressed down the top of my phone and applied super glue. It's been working normally since morning. I guess the touchpad was always disconnecting. Lol.

Didn't go out with it cause the battery was low, I'm using it now sha and it's acting normal.hope it stays that way

You will have to be cleaning often Lol, most times with dry cloth.

Touchpad seem to be failing in its duty cheesy

Update to latest version.
Clean the screen and its edges properly with soft little wet cloth, apply pressure. Little dirts now affecting it.
I discovered it's a hardware issue.
Try the hard cleaning and report back.

Check rom section in umidigi community to download the rom.
Charge your phone for sometime.
Browse how to use spflash tool, don't untick anything, click download only.

I no fit use my final year project money take buy phone. Make I just dey live like that. It's funny and painful too. Lol

I flashed the device with the firmware I downloaded from Umidigi community , and the device came up.

Anyone have same issue might want to try this.

Sorry about your experience.

My A7 did exact thing, died and couldn't power on.

While charging mine, the back of the phone was little hot showing that the phone was actually charging but the screen was blank.

Left it to charge for some more time and tried powering it, it displayed an error requesting that the phone be formated which I cancel.

The phone booted and everything went back to normal

I agree with you. I know my hardware is strong. Lol.
I'm planning on flashing it with spflash tool

The phone is about 11months old.
The touch pad will not work unless I have to off the screen and unlock. Sometimes I have to the it more than twice to get it responding again.

If you didn't get the V1.8 update, check Umidigi community website.
Download the right update, there are two variants of A5pro(Eu version and global version).
Transfer the update to your sd card and update.

After updating, the screen will stop freezing.

before the end of first half, your gpu will thermal throttle and lags will set in. Please play on low and 30 fps, don't overstress your CPU and GPU. Helio p23 is not a gaming chipset. I rest my case.

I love to stress my CPU tongue

Besides, there was no lag throughout the game.

Don't argue with me, A7 pro doesn't run PES21 smoothly on 60fps and high graphics. I tried it ,the experience wasn't entertaining....

The bottom line is the GPU on the phone is too weak to handle high definition games.

Played PES 21 Standard graphics, 60fps 3 min ago on A5pro. No lags.

I hardly play games though

Means you're doing stuff that are tasking to the CPU and consume lots of battery power.

Chatting on whatsapp isn't a heavy task on the phone.
