I opened a dispute after three months only for aliexpress to judge the case in favor of the seller saying that their tracking information shows "Departed country of origin". I went to post office in VI severally after their judgement but they said the goods is not in Nigeria. I feel so bad, they just collected my money like that.

Try turning off battery saver and data saver.
Make sure you're not using modified whatsapp like GB WhatsApp, they have some features that prevents stuff like that. E.g if you turn off delivered tick and freeze your last seen.

Switch to Glo. 1GB = 1024MB.
Remember to recharge before 12AM.

I have not seen such apps on Umi phones. Probably because they use stock Android.

Hello everyone.

I got my Umidigi A7 Pro about two weeks ago after seeing so many positive reviews about it. But it was only until yesterday that I made use of the camera app in a not too bright place and discovered that the back camera flashlight isn't coming up when taking shots. Tried as much as I could in the camera settings to bring it on, it just wouldn't work.

I hope this is not a fault? Any fix?

Check if you can use the flashlight as torch. You might want to turn off battery saver for a test and your battery shouldn't be less than 16% unless flashlight won't come up to save battery.

If all these do not work, return the phone.

Last night at about 2AM I woke up as planned and decided to update my PC to the latest windows 10 version which is about 4GB in size to download. I planned on using Glo, because they have a fast 4g network and their 1GB night data can be accumulated unlimitedly.

I recharged my Glo line with ₦400 so that I could buy 4GB, to my dismay, I didn't receive the airtime credited to my line. I sent them a message on Facebook with a photo of my debited SMS, they told me they could do nothing about it.

I recharged my 3 MTN Sims (An MTN SIM's night plan limit is 2GB) since I can't allow that night go to waste, it's not easy to wake up at night.
My MTN SIMs were all credited. I updated using my MTN Sims but for a higher price since their 500MB is actually 444MB.

This is not the first time this sh*t is happening to me, the last time was 2months ago, my account was debited and GLO didn't credit my line with airtime, the money wasn't returned to my bank account. I allowed it slide because it was ₦100.

Customers can't lose money on a network because of their incompetence.

Please do not recharge your Glo line at night. You will be risking your money.

Recharging your Glo line at night is same as playing bet9ja with your money.

Put them side by side and see the difference in the screen display.

You mean it doesn't click when you touch it? That sounds unbelievable.

You've been complaining since you bought the phone, I wonder if your complaints are true since other users do not have similar problems with theirs.

I suggest you reset the phone. Do the necessary updates.
Change your APN.

Glo is Glosecure or Gloflat
Airtel is internet.ng.airtel.com
9mobile is 9mobile.

Do normal subscription if you want WhatsApp video call. Social bundle subscriptions do not work on video calls.

I already fixed it . After my battery was totally drained, I downloaded the official stock ROM and i tried the firmware upgrade option in SP and it booted up . But now, I'm toying with the idea of installing the custom rom again . I already unlocked bootloader and installed TWRP because I wanted to install the ROM via TWRP menu but vol up + power button is taking me to normal stock recovery. Thats when i tried using SP to install the custom rom but I probably made a mistake somewhere.

If you have unlocked your bootloader, You can try again, It will work this time.

Don't flash custom ROM with Flashtool, we flash Recovery with Sp Flashtool, then install ROMs from recovery . So you don't need a PC to flash custom ROMs.


•Unzip TWRP you downloaded.
Rename your TWRP img file by Hadenix to 'recovery' on your PC.
•Copy your scatter file (MT6763) to the folder where you have recovery img.
•Move the folder to SP Flash tool folder.
•In your SP Flash tool folder, click flash_tool to open the software.
•Under scatter loading file, look for the folder where your scatter file is, click it, click open.
•You will see lots of green column pop up under download only.
•Tick ONLY recovery box and UNTICK the rest. (A strong warning).
Don't be afraid sha, just tick only recovery box.
•Click download.
•Now connect your phone to your PC.

•Hold Vol down and power button Wait for the recovery to flash 100%. Release your fingers when you hear a disconnected sound from your PC.
•Disconnect the phone from the PC.
•Hold Vol up and power button, till the screen lights up, when the screen goes off release the buttons.
•Quickly Hold Vol down and power button, till the screen lights up, when the screen goes off release the buttons.
• Quickly Again, hold Vol up and power button, till the screen lights up, wait till it boots to your new recovery.
•It will ask you for password, at the bottom look for how to ignore.
•Click install.
•Flaah disable verify decrypt file you downloaded from the telegram channel so that it won't ask for password next time.


All these will not work if you don't unlock your bootloader first.

I dont even know what to say. It wasnt working for me. I decided to flash back the stock rom and now i'm left with a white screen with green tinges around the edges. Connected Sp Flash Tool and it recognizes the phone but its not downloading, probably because the phone is still on. And I cant perforrm any adb or fastboot commands. How do you think I can fix this?

I don't know what you exactly did. You did something on your own without following any instructions.
