What i mean is that there is level of curruption to be measure by regions.
If Jona region doesnt belong to this class of curuption, there wont be staging of protest in support of anti people project. This show the worth of the president when it come to curruption, and his family wont say anything because is truely reflecting what they stand for.
hope i open your eyes.

My friends the inscription on the shirts could be about any thing.

This next generation of kids are mentally lazy to observe and draw conclusion. It is pathetic that they just follow headlines blindly.

When Tunde Bakare said Ebele's destiny is to bankrupt Nigeria
Many, myself inclusive, thought it was sour grapes because he lost the election.
With hindsight Pst Bakare was spot on
Jonathan has destroyed the handbrakes as he accelerates towards Nigeria's financial ruin.

Gbawe:

True. This woman is simply shameless. A very crude first lady and a total disgrace. There is nothing, however insensitive and puerile, she will not ask her "don't give a damn" husband to indulge her with. Whether it is becoming an undeserving permanent secretary or bullying Turai Yar Adua over choice Abuja land already allocated to the latter, our first lady is simply shameless and without the capacity to appreciate what is offensive to Nigerians and disgraceful to Nigeria.
is this building nt what turai wanted to build on dt land she was disputing with patience? The one patience later reportedly settled turai? Am i wrong?

[quote author=genxris]Dear Nairalanders, it's clear that some people are just out to paint the first lady or rather the Jonathan's administration bad and ugly. This issue of Patience Jonathan's 4billion naira budget proposal for her pet project is completely false and misleading. The truth is that Africa first ladies during the tenure of Turai Yaradua, african first ladies after a meeting in Congo in 2008 agreed to have their secretariat for peace situated in Abuja Nigeria and the first ldy agreed and sent y cant the whole african first ladies fund the project. Or raise the money thru lunching and donations. Some of these countries have light 247 and here they pushing us to spend 4Billion for them. Y is madam first lady making it a do or die affair.y cant S.africa take over if nigeria cannot handle it.

mutiply: They have all been brainwashed and used, the pics clearly shows the level of poverty cause money must have exchanged hands. if the above persons were fully employed, most them would have been sacked today for missing out from work

We really need to change our Psyche that everyone must be employed. Most of these guys are self employed and can decide to support any course in Naija.

jas_o: This is what you get when people from particular segment of country head the affair of the nation. It is more reason why they've being denied the opportunity because some greedier knows their fellow greediest. Having envisage today event, am afraid this will be the last taste of SS and SE presidency before the nation brake out.
How old were you when YEA (Youths Earnestly Ask for Abacha) staged their 1 million man match in support of the late dictator? Was the late dictator from SS/SE? I'm not amazed at your self aggradizement and penchant for tribalism. If you don't know that politics involve the art of political abracadabra, political gerrymandering, renting of crowd, placing of congratulatory messages in the media etc, then go back to school and stop exhibiting your ignorance and hate on a public forum.

Why link Igbos to a clueless GEJ?

The Igbo ingenuity forced away the white man; while the conspiracy of the West and North destroyed our Federalism. Your hero Awolow sat on a table with Gowon when the killed our Federalism. Today you people are in pretence as the greatest agitator of true Federalism; yet in 2007 when a vote was casted in favour of 25% derivation; only the Igbos and south south representative voted Yes; while yoyr deceptive leaders voted No.

ZIK and his generation of Igbo leaders helped in getting our Independent. We have had very articulate Igbos and people from South South until the Northern and Western cabals cornered and ruined this country.

It will be good if you can go back to recent history and tell us who articulated the present 6 zonal arrangement and derivation formula which I claim is the only positive political progress we have made since after the war. You should also trace the people that connived to destroy our true Federalism by taking away all the power due to the regions; and lumping same at the centre; at a time when Igbo were fighting the Biafran war.

Go ask your Yoruba father and northern leaders why they conspired to destroy our country as negotiated from the British by the able NCNC members lead by Igbos after the demise of Macaulay.

Most importantly, you should find our who encouraged GEJ to contest the election in breach of PDP zonning arrangement. It is your western elites that control the Press. You should also tell us who gave us a dying sick president and a clueless GEJ as Vice President. Try explain the role a criminal Tinubu played in denying Buhari Yoruba Votes during the last election.

The evil seed that some Yoruba's sowed we are reaping today.

Obasanjo destroyed PDP and Afenifere supported him. He dreamed third term and some Yorubas also supported him. It is his third ambition that gave rise to both Yar'adua and GEJ. Our opportunity to have a better government was single-handedly destroyed by Obasanjo who was brought out from prison and made a president on a platter of Gold. It tell us how devilish some Yorubas can be.

It is no

Probably due to your goofiness, you forgot northern region with its sidekick, southwestern region, have driven Nigeria into the abyss of corruption for more than 45 years. What a troll. You are one reason Nigeria needs disintegration.

Pls state your position, are you in support for the first lady N4billion mansion that serves no purpose to country or you are against it. grin

This is exactly what will happen come 2015 election were the majority of the hungry electorates will be bought across the 36 states of the federation to vote for a known criminal and they will gladly do while u and I will come back on nairaland to rant and abuse ourselves over who voted who or which tribe voted for the criminal while we fail to realise that it is members of our collective regions that did the voting while our so called progresives politicians collected the huge allocation and disbursed it to the gullible povertity stricken electorates who will always be in the majority.
We are all jonsing in this country, the only hope is for there to be a bloody revolution that will consume both innocent and guilty lives.
Our salvation obviously aint gonna come from the opposition nor merging of parties which I term the merging of criminals from various political parties.
Were is nlc, sng, clo, opposition parties and co?
Apart from carrying placards and renting musicians to come and perform and grammer been dished out from political celebs during the carnivallike protest- aint there anyother means of stoping the madness going on in this country?
I'm so sick, u just can't hear or read of any positive news coming out from nigeria.
No one cares, all man for himself even the merging parties are busy negotiating who gets what and not about the country.

The truth is that Africa first ladies during the tenure of Turai Yaradua, african first ladies after a meeting in Congo in 2008 agreed to have their secretariat for peace situated in Abuja Nigeria and the first ldy agreed and sent the proposal to aso villa for endorsement but unfortunately her husband's demise didn't let that project to be considered till last year when after a meeting of the africa first ladies, they once again told the current Nigerian first lady of their previous agreement for the africa first lady mission building secretariat to be sited in Abuja.
The first lady sent the proposal once again to the villa and it is enshrined in the budget of the FCT and the national assembly will have the power to modify the estimation or approve it.
Let it be noted that this is not a personaal building or property or even a personal pet project of Nigeria first lady but rather a continental building meant for the frica first ladies and other international/regional bodies (e.g unesco, unicef, unido etc) concerned
With peace and conflict management and other health concerns.
The project will just be like the national hostpital abuja that was championed by Mrs Maryam Abacha or the others championed by late mrs babangida as a first lady.
Some people are sensationalizing this project just to paint the GEJ administration as "I don't know" so as to gain cheap political goals for themselves.
Once again this 4billion naira does not exist in2013 budget as Patience jonathan pet project money...go find out yourselves and don't believe every social media story u see
nobody is against her pet projet but the use of tax payers fund, just last year she went and wasted millions of. Tax payers dollas in Germany .why can she simpertize with us.they keep remaining us of other first ladies while forgetting the fact that this women use what they have to get what they wanted Abacha down to turai lunch apeal fund for their projects.since this is an internatioal project invite other first ladies to come and donate Dangotes of africa would donate millions in dollas not to talk of our oil companis
