It's also a big lesson for me. That Chioma lady is not a celebrity. Her post couldn't have gotten such a high number of interactions to kill Erisco's business. In less than a week, that her post would have been forgotten and Facebook won't have been showing it to users because there would have been newer posts to replace it on people's timelines. This whole matter would have been forgotten in less than a week and to make matters better, there were some people who were defending Erisco's products in the comment section of the post. Erisco just blew the matter out of proportion now the post has gotten far more interactions than it was supposed it get on a normal level, the brand's image is now being bastardised on social media and they are spending more money on a lawsuit. All these would have been avoided if they had just ignored the Chioma lady.
